The problem with these H&X pipe comparisons is that everyone has already done modifications to their exhaust. A better more accurate comparison would be to have an H and a X pipe on a completely stock exhaust setup. Because if you already have modifications done to your exhaust you have already altered the sound and now your altering it again by adding and H or X pipe. So now someone may think the Xpipe sounds raspy while the Hpipe sound deep. But then that same Hpipe can sound raspy while the Xpipe sounds deep on another same car because of the exhaust set up.

I had a C5 Convert. After a ton of rethinking I have determined the C4 both the Coupe and Convert are better looking cars than the C5 and C6 and C7 with those ridiculous rear trans and torque tube designs. Best part is most C4s before 1996 don't have to get smog tested. Even the C8 to me looks like origami with a way too long rear end. And C4s are better in all ways to C3s and earlier. The ONE drawback to the C4 is that deep side sill by the floor.

The optispark Era suck . I have a 90 and love it. It is one of the best cars I've ever had . If well maintained, these cars will last a long time. And NEVER put anything less than 91 to 93 octane fuel in them they don't like the cheap shit. I put 93 in mine and she loves it. These cars are an American classic and want to be driven. Take good care of yours and you'll have it for another 30 years. Thanks for sharing.
