We've been here one week now and I'm blown away how pretty and unspoilt Benemadena is. I came here 42 years ago and it really hasn't changed that much. It's definitely worth a visit in Januar\February again.

No matter how often I see Benelmadena , it never fails to raise my spirits. Some parts are too busy and 'touristy', even a bit tacky. But that does not spoil the bigger picture. In the South of England this morning - 3 February - there is total cloud cover just above our heads. So Grey and Dank. Give me the Land of Light any day. And the joy that goes with it.
