Protect Your Birds From Snakes!
Protect your birds from dangerous predators particularly snakes.This simple method of placing two different mesh openings of three-quarter inch and 1/2 inch protect your birds from snakes. The snakes will basically get caught in the mesh because they cannot go backwards and they get wider as they go through the mesh. You can then safely relocate the snakes and protect your birds.Links to bind the mesh are below.

    So with respect to fully emptying the 1 pound cylinder, you could just take a pen or a stick and push it in the top of the canister and that will expel any residual gas. Also, you can use the adapter without screwing it to the large tank and that will open that valve up as well. That allows you to have a maximum fill, which is your goal. Take care. Joe.

    Thanks for this video. I have questions based on comments with 2 strong differing questions. What I've learned - the 20lb tanks contain propane in both liquid & gas form, gas is up top, liquid is below, this is why we have to flip the large tank upside down, and not turn our adaptors on until the large tank is upside down. We fill the small tank until we no longer hear hissing. Here are questions: Some guys (who "have refilled for 20+ years") are saying we need to release pressure first - But from where exactly & how? > Release pressure from the valve on the small tank? > Some are saying there's a Pressure Relief valve (on the small tank or big one?!). >Others are saying there is a also a Shrader valve (where js this one?!). > Some are saying we should release only 1 of these... Which one? Some are saying NO! Dont mess with either one! I thought this would be super easy, but feedback from long-time refiller people is making some options versus other options seem very bad & dangerous 😬.

    • @JosephHunstad
      @JosephHunstad 7 днів тому

      Thank you for your question. I had forgotten exactly how I did it so I took a good look at it today. I basically ran the wires from the lights which go through the bumper around the frame and zip, tied all the way to in front of the cab, and then I brought it through the firewall, which is forward of the instrument panel. I retrieve the wires by taking the cover of the instrument panel off. Consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe.

    Can you weld into PVC pipe

    • @JosephHunstad
      @JosephHunstad 11 днів тому

      You ask a great question. PVC is a thicker stronger polymer that definitely can be melted and if there’s a crack in it, these wire reinforcements can definitely be placed. There is a welding blade that actually can be used as well, but to weld it properly you need to get on both sides of the break if you can get on the inside and outside of the break, you have a good chance of repairing it, but it will be brittle and it could be likely to crack again in that location. Hi Dr. Joe, did you put a 2in receiver on the front of any atvs / sxs in order to plug and play this winch system? I may try to implement a similar system on my atv. It already has a 2in receiver hitch on the back. I may try to come up with a 2in receiver plate to go on the front of the atv. .and have a quick .connect at the front and the back of the atv. If i need to winch forward, great! If I need to winch back, great as well!

    My question is: how do you know what is the best angle or tip type? Ie for metal use 135 degree split point or for wood use a 118 angle and regular point... I have a ton of drill bits that are so dull or broken that I don't know what they were when new..

    • @JosephHunstad
      @JosephHunstad 15 днів тому

      You ask a great question. The majority of basic drillbits are 118°. You can actually get a small tool that measures the angle to know if it’s 118 or 135. If the drill bits are not split point they are probably 118°. If they are split point bits they are probably 135°. Consider subscribing. Both drill bits work in wood metal and other material materials. Thanks. Joe

    Hey, Dr. Joe. I got an ultimate 2025 2500HD Denali I just got and I been wanting to take her over a mountain I live near. Would cut me on a lot of time but I been a little hesitant to be honest. Would shifting to a lower gear be better for me as this would be too slow and it’s an actual highway that runs over the mountain. Thank you! Subbed and liked.

    • @JosephHunstad
      @JosephHunstad 24 дні тому

      Excellent question. Using a lower gear will add engine breaking to the descent which if you’ve got traction is good decent control basically is not using the engine breaking. It’s applying braking to each individual tire based on the slip and traction. You can use both if the conditions are difficult. Thanks for subscribing. Take care. Joe.

      I've heard they rust on the inside after a while which makes them fragile and that makes them very dangerous with explosion risk!

    I have tried several times to program both the open and closed limits on the very same gate opener. My setup is pull to open. I can get the clothes position set properly but the open position as the arm retracts it will not stop until it bottoms out no matter where I set the manual limit. Please advise

      Sorry to hear about that. This issue has come up a number of times. My recommendation is to completely power down the unit disconnect the battery source let it sit and then reprogram it from the very beginning. This seems to be effective. Why one closure limit works and the other doesn’t is a mystery. Give that a shot. I think that’ll help consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe

    What about someone that lives in an apartment with no way to really ventilate the printer? I've been wanting a 3d printer for years but hesitant for this reason alone.

    • @JosephHunstad
      @JosephHunstad 28 днів тому

      Thank you for your question. There may be no good answer in your situation. If you could possibly vent your printer outside, rig up and exhaust fan such as in a bathroom something like that. If you’re exhaust fan fence inside your apartment that’s no good but if it vents outside, that’s great. You could actually vent your 3-D printer to your bathroom exhaust or to the bathroom area using the exhaust fan. Just a thought otherwise an internal filter like the Voxel inside and enclosure is probably the safest bet. Consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe.

    Great explain of the use of the assist. How well do you think it would do in snow and ice?

    • @JosephHunstad
      @JosephHunstad 28 днів тому

      Thank you for your comment. It totally depends on the vehicle and the conditions. If you’ve got glare eyes forget it nothing will help that but if you’ve got snow, it’s a great help for sure. Consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe.

    I stumbled across your channel - Hi ! I've been saying these warning for years but the keyboard warriors think they know it all There's detailed information about the hazards with both the CDC and EPA among other sources. I got into 3D printing as a hobby in 2013 and it was the great unknown back then. Now, I know so much more...several years ago, I got hired at a research lab where we do a tremendous amount of 3D printing - small and large scale - you've probably seen the stuff we've made. Anyways, I applaud you for getting the word out. I tell people to think of these particles much like you would second hand smoke. Enclose, filter and even better is vent it outside if you can setup a system to do so. AND - be wary of the fire dangers with 3D printers! Small fire suppression devices are very affordable (Wham Bam's The Cloud or Blazecut). Be smart. Be safe. Mitigate the risks!

      Wow, thank you so much for the excellent comments. Yes I totally agree and I actually have a video on fire suppression as well. I included the fire suppressant cylinder in the top of the enclosure as a safety measure because many times I’ll turn the printer on and I’ll leave it and it’s in the basement. Consider subscribing. Excellent overview! I could not for the life of me figure out how to install the anti-splinter guard until I saw your video. The instruction manual was useless in showing how that fit. Thanks so much! Great job showing/explaining the features. Other than the anti-splinter, I have loved my jigsaw.
