Glad to see this LP end on a high note! Great job, dude! Some fun facts for those reading along: Fun Fact #1: I don't remember if I mentioned this in the video with the first Agahnim battle, but believe it or not, you don't need the Master Sword in order to deflect his magic attacks back at him. All you need is...your trusty Bug Catching Net! Apparently, the programmers thought it'd be funny and joke items have been a staple of the series since. For instance, in Ocarina of Time, both Phantom Ganon and Ganondorf himself can have their magic attacks deflected with Empty Bottles. Even funnier, during the final phase of the Ganondorf fight in Twilight Princess can be distracted by the Fishing Rid of all things. XD Fun Fact #2: As the Super Gaming Brothers discovered, once you beat Ganon, you can actually fall down the pit. When you make it back to the room...Ganondorf is back as is the first battle where he clearly died never happened! Anyways, as for me, this was, alongside Ocarina of Time, was my first Zelda. I still consider this entry the best of the series and of the 2D games in particular. This game means a LOT to me and I'm really glad that you enjoyed playing through this game! Also, that Total Games Played counts the amount of times you died AS WELL AS how many times you Saved and Quit. The GBA port will change that number to the number of deaths only. In fact, that was the metric from Link's Awakening onward, IIRC.

I mentioned in the last part that these days I always go to dungeon 4 early so I can get the Tempered Sword as quickly as possible. I wonder if that chain of events is after the fourth Dark World dungeon for balance. After all, it's halfway between the first dungeon and Ganon's Tower, so that would make a degree of sense.

For those following at home, Blind *WAS* referenced waaaaaaaay back during the Kakariko Village segment early on in the game. If you enter the church-like building where you get the one Heart Piece and talk to the man there, he'll tell you about Blind the Thief and that he disappeared. Now we know that "disappeared" brcause he went to the Dark World. I've noticed you have thus far completed the dungeons in order. I tend to follow a bit of a path once I get to the Dark World. I complete the Dark Palace like normal, but then book it to the portal you used to get here so I can complete the Thieves' Hideout as my second Dark World dungeon. This way, I can get the Titan's Mitts and gain access to the Tempered Sword early. From there, if I'm playing on an emulator/3DS/Switch, I'll go directly to the third dungeon since it's already right there. If I'm playing on the SNES or GBA, I'll most likely save and quit for the day and head to the second dungeon. After that, it's Misery Mire, Ice Palace, Turtle Rock and Ganon's Tower in th at order. I will *NEVER* do dungeon 5 before dungeon 6 ever again solely because of that stupid block! XD

I have to say, I love the title. 'Tis s nice reference to one of the best Ocarina songs from the N64 era.

Unless I'm mistaken, the luck you gain from the Pond of Happiness pertains to item drops from enemies. Big trouble involves getting no item drops from the first ten enemies you kill while the other tiers have different items. That being said, it's been a while since I did any research on the Pond, so take what I say in this regard with a grain of salt.

For those that don't know: now that you have the Magic Hammer, you can do a neat trick to get more magic from enemies. Use Ether on your enemies and smash them with the Magic Hammer. The result will automatically give you a large magic refill.

idk if u know what happens, but u have to show off what happens when you throw the magic powder/dust at the chu things (the ones that hurt you when u hit em)

The third medallion, Bombos, is far and away the best of the three medallions. I use it a LOT in the Ice Palace solely so I don't have to fight enemies for too long with the ice physics.

The walls that you can dash into are shaped closer to doors than the ones you were dashing into. The one that you used a bomb to blow up in Sahasrala's...house, hideaway, whatever was an example of one you could use. Likewise, when you go back into the Hyrule Dungeons, you'll see two such walls you can dash into instead of using bombs (you'll know the area).

You might be one of the few that know about getting more items from the Bottle Merchant. I don't think I even knew about that until I was already in my early 20's...about 10 years ago. God, I'm getting old...

13:44: Unless I'm mistaken, those particular Anti-Fairies are the only ones in the entire game that won't turn into Fairies. I...don't know why this is, either. As you intuited, it may be due to them being hazards. *WHY* this is the case is anyone's guess. That being said, if I were a Betting Boy, I'd say it was a technical snafu.
