Beautifully done
Elke keer als ik dit nummer hoor erger ik me mateloos aan de aritmisch 'vertraagde' galm op de piano...
MIKE PINDER , magnifique ....avec une superbe partie de MELLOTRON !......
Absolutely brilliant song
One of my all-time fave outros.
Great Video for sure
There is a band that were ahead of their time ❤ !!!
Andy played the acoustic on this. Not Koss
A gay bookworm I😂
What else are you going to read? Probably paranoid.
I have always felt this song was the progression of someone going through a trip and the singer is the guild bringing the person back, knowledge of the psychological changes that were made to the traveler's personality during the trip.
agreed!!!! i'm ready for a trip again after hearing this again after 50 years.
The more I listen to the Moodies, I think they were way ahead of their time.
Mike Pinder. Such an inspired musician to give us this piece of jewelry.
My favourite ♥️
DOWNTOWN DENVER COLO WITH BROTHER ROY /MEMORIES NEVER GO AWAY ALSO DURHAM NC & RICHMOND VA (SAW 2 CONCERTS 23 HOURS APART) BLEW THE MIND
❤
два года пытаюсь написать коммент на это видео, ничего не получается - sorry.....
Deep within the recesses of grandpa's mind.
Of a nation that's going insane,. Of a nation that's losing it's name.
Sadly a lot of contempory bands of the day dismissed the music and Pinder specifically for the use of the mellotran considering it not an instrument so not legit. I couldnt disagree more but just saying what i've heard. The Moodies are the best band ever, other really great ones but none make me feel or take my soul to where can.
led zeppelin used it too
Skønt😊
Richard Manuel, my favorite vocalists in the world. This is one of the most beautiful songs in the world for me. I can't listen without tears.
1976 , Seaside Oregon my boyfriend played this for me as we broke up. For 2 months
Bravo!!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏!!
His voice touches my soul. Unreached.
What a great video to go with a Mike Pinder's beautiful music from Threshold of a Dream
This song kept me alive!
mediate on this
❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful
I think they were pure musical geniuses just like the Beatles.
Yeas. This love and beauty can turn any bummer into a beautiful trip. Peace be with you.
When I enter the other side of life, I told my husband and kids I want this played at my funeral. I’ve always felt this song is like the journey to the other side ❤
A GREAT THOUGHT / ALSO WHEN I AM HAVING A BAD DAY JUST PLAY ANY MOODY SONG AND IT GOES AWAY
agreed. i just made the same decision.
ME TOO /ANY MOODY / JOSH TURNER LONG BLACK TRAIN) / MARTY ROBBINS ( MASTERS CALL) / JOHN DENVER (ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH) = REASON = I TURNED 27 - 183 DAYS LATER MY LIFE CHANGED FOR THE GOOD - "THE SUMMER OF HIS 27TH YEAR" - LIVE 24 7 365 AND BRING SOMEONE ALONG
Their music was out of this world
Mike Pinder’s writing ,vocals and playing were as good as it gets. E.g. if not for Mike’s intro to Nights in White Satin, even Justin Hayward has said it wouldn’t the song it became.
Underrated band.
Another great song from Shel and Dr Hook ❤❤
Praise God Allelujah
Excellent compilation, I appreciate it.
terrible terrible sound quality.
When was this song released? I don’t remember ever hearing it. Love the lyrics & the voice 😊❤
1967
@@ijustneedmyself 1967….wow Thank you 🙏
In my opinion, this is the album where they really got a little more depth to their pleasantness, which gave a more satisfying experience to the listener, if you know what I mean.
That's incredibel touching, thanks for sharing ❤
Loved the Moody Blues for about 55 years (or earlier, since first hearing Nights in White Satin, not their earlier hit Go Now!). Didn’t realize the somewhat-subtle Christian/Jesus references until later, especially when hearing how deeply christian Mike Pinder was (and some of the others were/are ). Personally, not thrilled at all with the Christian references (subtle, or otherwise) threaded through some of the lyrics, like here in Mike Pinder’s work, or like in Seventh Sojourn, in some of John Lodge’s songs, etc. I just try to ignore or re-imagine these spots in the lyrics. Not a fan of Jesus, or the religion.
Good, it ain’t Boz….
American/new York Prophet. Truth teller. Lover of all things love. Miss this music.
Such a good song
People will discover this great band! Thanks, Expedia
