08:00 - Skill Issue But no really, this is because you played Act 2 of a level. For some reason when you exit Act 2 the combo system permanently changes to fit its gameplay style. (I wish you could change this btw) OK so how the Act 2 combo system works is that if you collect any amount of stars the counter goes to that star count. So your goal in this style is to collect more stars than what's shown on the counter. If you collect less stars than in the count it resets, which is the reason it didn't go up for you, you collected too few stars. My personal strategy is to spam the "Nice Moves" attack (Jump while holding Trick) to maintain your count. Also try to find the most optimal route in the level to collect as many rings, grind on as many rails and kill as many robots as humanly possible. -in other words git gud git gud-

Btw, I know what happened at the beginning now. I reviewed my footage and found out that on my first day of recording, I made a new file for the Let's Play, which was File 3 (Files 1 and 2 were my test playthroughs). But on my second day of recording, I instinctively opened File 1 like I normally do on my Dreamcast. Thus, I was back at Chaos 4, where that save left off. OOPS LMAO!

Yo! You should check out Sonic Onset Adventure on Roblox. It's the only game I've ever played that actually made me forget I was playing a Roblox game, apparently development for the game has paused because they want to move it to another platform instead of Roblox, check it out! It feels like a definitive Sonic Adventure remake!
