The speaker won't last more than a year. The batteries won't hold a charge anymore. It sounds great but their downfall is the batteries. We also have a UE Megaboom that is 8 years old and it still works and holds a good charge.

Perdón no se escribir en portugués, pero no hay inconvenientes en cambiar a una otra batería 18650 de mayor capacidad, ya que los BMS (Battery Management System) funcionan controlando la tensión umbral de las baterías, y los módulos con gestión de carga suelen limitar la corriente máxima de carga a un valor de diseño (normalmente con una resistencia programable). Si esta diseñado para una batería más pequeña, solo cargara en un mayor tiempo. En cuanto al panel solar, incluso en buenas condiciones climáticas (mucho sol y ambiente de baja temperatura) no creo que pueda producir corrientes elevadas, así que tal vez más de un día en cargar una batería de por ejemplo 3,7v 2600mah (9.62 Wh a 1Wh a pleno sol, dan casi 10 horas en condiciones ideales, pero considerando que el ultimo 20% de carga la batería toma lento carga, al ser de litio, puede tardar mucho más. Yo tengo varias 18650 por un juego de linternas que cargo en un cargador externo, y simplemente intercambio sin mayores cuidados.

Hi I'm new to tribit strombox blast just brought it yesterday is worth upgrade? My battery drain even off shoud update the firmware but many say it get worse battery life?
Essa caixa é top, só fico chateado com a Tribit que o xBass é falso, ela simplesmente chama um equalizador com mais graves, é melhor vc criar uma equalização personalizada e não usar o xBass (porque na realidade ele é falso). Estou com a versão 3.5 e o problema continua. Alguém notou esse problema?
