Experiencing cold weather footwear failure at -6 degrees F Ascend boots worked excellent until I bedded down for the night the cold worked it’s way through and froze my feet to a point of having to break away from camp. The only other option was to start a fire to warm my feet. Marino wool socks and winter boots are required for extreme cold conditions.
