Don’t believe the hype. Flats has terrible management! I find it oddly surprising that they have time to make UA-cam content, yet my building barely has hot water. Our trash sits in the halls until the rotten smells begin to fill your apartment, and NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE! We pay entirely too much in rent for me to have to stalk your social medias for a response! I wouldn’t advise anyone to move into any of their buildings until management is corrected!

My experience in this apartment complex has been quite awful. There is a lack of urgency when it comes to maintenance concerns, especially for the “HVAC system.” Similar to a hotel setting, a tenant of theWinnie is unable to control his or her own temperature in the unit without constraints. Worse, a tenant is unable to choose A/C or Heat because “Sensors on the roof dictate whether certain functions become available to you or not.” As a tenant of theWinnie you are stripped of your rights to feel either hot or cold. Additionally, if this was not bad enough, there are ongoing concerns with the heating system. Mind you, it is November 18th and we are living in Chicago. The tenants of this building do not have access to heat due to ongoing sensor concerns. I have made several requests to get this issue fixed, but the concern still remains. Approximate cost: $2,100
did they ever fix this? I was told tenants can control and it goes based off if you're in a certain room or not?? other than that how did you like the actual neighborhood
