The Schumann Konzerstuck for 4 horns and orchestra is one of the most fun pieces in the classical repertoire. It is rarely played but I did hear it once at a live concert. If you have never heard the work before, this gives you a great opportunity. There are several audio recordings in the catalog and there is also a DVD played by the Chicago Symphony. Finally, there is a live performance by the Frankfurt Radio Symphony on cable. All of the recordings are wonderful. If you love the Schumann Rhenish Symphony No. 3, you should love this piece.

Idk what the uck he’s doing and definitely not my style . BD definitely needs more ring at least in this recording. He’s sorta Art and Philly with some Tony. Seems like his playing is not fluid . He’s definitely got his own style and it’s really good but…
