Couldn't see handouts

I use track changes often but right now I'm having trouble getting it to work right. Specifically, if I make text italics, it automatically crosses out the italicized text and I can't get rid of the cross out. I wanted the text to be italicized but not lined out.

To hide balloons when printing. It's right below where you went to fix the problem in print dialog, just uncheck "print markup"
