Neighbor of mine has one for sale for 3k , all it needs is new brakes and AC recharge. It very clean and supercharger sounds great!

i sold it about a month ago. Just got a new project to play with that i will be uploading soon.

@@ruudvanleeuwen7320 funny enough I'm actually buying back the Cooper s. I making a video on it. A shop has it for sale right now. The guy I sold it to crashed it. I went to look at it in person and damage isn't to bad. I'll be making a video on everything about it. Including driving to pick it up and a walk around on the current condition of the car. I'll be restoring it and doing a full color change. I regretted selling the car almost instantly but destiny has brought it back to me. Lol.

Thanks. I have a bunch of parts on order. I havent updatef the car in awhile. Redoing the entire cooling system. Aluminum Rad and larger intercooler incoming to. There will be a video in the coming weeks once i have all the parts. Prepping it for the Cam, Injectors and tune Im getting later this year

The R53 models (so up to 2006) all came with supercharged 1.6L 4cyls. The models you'll want to look at are the Cooper S/JCW/GP. Aftee 2006 they swapped to a 2 liter turbo model which puts out more power but is in my honest opinion incredibly boring to drive due to the engine and also how they kept getting bigger and bigger making them essentially just reskinned 1 series. Pre-2006 have an awesome supercharger whine and the driving position makes you feel like you're in a go kart. Had mine since I was 16 (5 years now) and loved every bit of it.

@@kye9034 The Civics are great and I understand the transition. For the best experience try to get a 2006 model JCW or GP. While the Cooper S is amazing (and I love mine to bits) the other two models are just that but better in every way.

A GP model will be harder to come by and alot more expensive. Only 2000 ever made. A R53 Cooper S is plenty good enough. Just try and get a 2005-2006 model year as they came with significant upgrades and some equipped with a factory LSD such as mine in the video. A few very simple bolt on mods on a base Cooper S will be faster then both the JCW and GP models. Although if you can find a Cooper S with the JCW tuning kit definitely grab it. They come with a machined cylinder head and bigger injectors, which to me is the best reason to own one as most of the other updates such as the smaller pulley can be outperformed with after market mods with out breaking the bank.

@@trashgodzgarage3281 i recently purchased a limited edition mc40 do you know if these come with any upgrades? Its an 04' 120k miles. I do plan to do a 16% pulley, dampener and other cleaner up around the area.

No issues yet and I have had them like that for about a year now. I cut them in half so the back half is there all the way up to just above the wheel. Engine bay also dose not get as dirty as you might think.

I cut the fender liner. If you look just above the wheel you could still see the fender liner. I cut the front half off and did it at an angle so the strut tower lines up with the fender for a cleaner look.

it depends on the state you live in here in the US. In my state any car over 15 years old no longer need emissions testing. but in other states it would be illegal to register it and get it on the road.

Ill be respraying the whole car this winter. I do auto body for a living. Just enjoying what little nice weather we have left. lol

my flares are OEM. I did trim the inner part of the flars though. I did not cut any metal at all.

@@christophergarcia3069 it’s like back in the early 90’s all cars came with black plastic or black metal and if you wanted the chrome you needed to pay more and if you didn’t want the base paint you needed to pay more to get painted matched handles and so forth.
