The music you're about to hear is one of many unfinished songs written over the last few years. You will now see the process of how it was completed as it was shot in an old converted chapel. Some scenes were filmed multiple times using one camera for various angles, and the one with the best audio was kept. No A.I. was used in its creation; instead, heavily influenced by the musicians who came before.

wowowowow i love the way this was shot!
your work is beautiful, I can't believe this channel this channel isn't getting the recognition it deserves
Wow, your team could easily make movies with those visuals... Compliments on what we all miss from cassette tape. And love that Columbus valve amp, Oh did I mention that music...yeah I love it!
No team involved, just me. Thanks for the comment, appreciate it!
I loved every second of this, its like a love letter to multitrack lo-fi recording and WHAT you can use an ebow on an acoustic??? Why have I never tried this?
Best example of the e-bow on an acoustic is the Bon Iver's song 'Flume'
@KITSCH. I've heard that song so many times and assumed it was more of a bowed effect. Prior to getting an e-bow, an actually still because I just used it, I would use the handle of one of the thicker exacto knives as a bow on the guitar. Its rougher than a slide so agitates the string, without it being a giant violin bow hitting every string.
Ah yeah i know the ones you mean. Would you recommend the bow?
@KITSCH. The handle on my xacto was the thicker of the two varieties and kind of corroded which helped it grip the strings, and I only used it on electric. For the sound, its something similar to what David Gilmore did on, I think, Echoes on the Live at Pompeii video, though he was using maybe a metal slide? Like a bow? It's that sound, anyway.
@KITSCH. Sorry its a sound like this at around 1:08 on this Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii/Saucefull of Secrets. He's using a slide but my x-acto knife had better grib on the strong compared to my slides. Similar to an ebow but more subtle?
The fact you're not better known is criminal. This production is better than mainstream music and it's quality is more than double. Your sound is hypnotizing it's so good
When the bass and drums came in at the garden jam it was so groovy I nearly broke my neck
great video, great looping arrangement! Have you made a breakdown of your setup?
Thank you. I haven't made a breakdown yet but i really should. Hopefully soon!
@@KITSCH. yeah i'd appreciate that. I just started with looping too
Man, this is crazy what you did here.
The masterpiece! ❤
need it on spotify <3
You got it! open.spotify.com/album/2V37sT6qr0cgzDQgwwGoyZ
So cool
It's insane work 😅. Very inspiring and just beautiful. Are you also doing the video job ?!
Thank you! Yeah i'm filming too.
muy bueno!!!!
Beautifully written, recorded, filmed, edited, etc. Very well done! And nice little allusion to Lonerism in the title sequence 🙂
You might be the only one who has noticed that. Thanks for the kind words
Very cool
This is such a vibe
Found your channel on reddit! I love the way you shoot your videos! The angles are amazing!
Thanks man! Appreciate it
Did you use DBX?
No, but I did do a bit of EQ work in Logic
Nice aesthetic
Love it, make a long one! Beautiful music and video~
Listening to this takes me back to some of the most special moments in my life
This is amazing. Great work and great musicality. What are you using for an interface? Do you typically have all your gear all hooked up at all times? Like on seperate channels just waiting?
I try to keep it set up and ready. But everything gets moved around too often for new projects that it never lasts.
@@KITSCH. thanks for he reply, i really enjoy'd your music, and video styling. cheers
Using a Scarlett 18i8 3rd Gen Interface
This is amazing. How were you able to get 20 different instruments to link to ableton like that?
Yeah it was a headache to set up. I'll be doing another one of these soon...
beautiful video and music, you deserve more views
This is mind blowingly good from a filmmaking and musicianship perspective!! How do you make the lighting and colours look so impressive? Great work, I’ve just subscribed. 👌🙌
Thanks Man! For the lighting, I used an Aputure Amaran F22c and a Nanlite FS-300. To make the colours pop, I did quite a bit of colour grading in Davinci Resolve.
Muy buena performance
Love what you do buddy, keep it up!
Awesome song. Love the short film format too.
Had to wait until I had a good amount of quiet time to watch this video and appreciate it. Love what you're doing.
Impressive
Thank you for putting so much effort into this, it might not get the attention it deserves but I appreciate it.
This looks absolutely gorgeous! I've just started learning color grading and now I wish I could go back and style my video of recording an album on Portastudio at glamping similarly.
This dude is gonna be huge. Thought this would have millions of views.
I love the journey of this music
BRABO DEMAIS IRMAO, TAMO JUNTO! VOCE E FODA. AQUI E BRASIL CARALHO, KELVYN
Wow
Beautifully executed
bom pakarai!!!
I don't know what to say really. I wouldn't know where to start getting a video like this together. It's honestly stunning how you manage to write a song like this and make the visuals such a part of it. It's a masterpiece in every aspect. The effort must be beyond insane and I value every second of it!!! You're such an inspiration...and I think I have to find a chapel to make music in now 😅
True artist in every sense of the form
We need a video on the setup my dude! This was sick!
Thanks! Planned to, but my studio time's been cut short. Only a few months left and lots more films to do.
great to have stumbled upon this, trying to cook up my own stuff like this
This is not about perfection This is about soul
Yass
Damn that was so amazingly well done! Love the stop motion animation parts. Great work!
This is art in its purest form. Lovely stuff brother.
Really love your music and video. Music this time is more contemporary? Video is amazing, love the old school stuff (wow, tape record!), sunset is so beautiful ~~ Good job~~
Yeah this one was a little more contemporary. Each one of these will be completely different from the last. Thanks Julia!
Man, such an awesome sound ☁️
Didn't know I'd be getting a video this good by the thumbnail and video title - they hardly represents the work that went it and the kind of song you produced. I imagine you have your reasons though. Anyway, incredible job again.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not exactly sure what to call it instead.
@@KITSCH. I just expected some kind of plugin / hardware review and not a fully produced track with cinematics. It was a pleasant surprise though!
