I have no background in this subject matter; although, I disliked my studies in the writer, when I was in college. But, now you've peaked my interest. I'll look him up via the Internet and, then, ask my boss, Marion B, about this (she is a lay rabbi, here, in San Antonio). Both she and I are former Journalists. Thank you for making your presentation available to the JCC. Shalom. --jana
Thank you. I wish I could have been at your discussion.
I am overwhelmed and shocked just listening to your shallow views Are you from Rabwa ? Shame on you Madam Anila you and your views do mot represent Muslims all over the world I think you are on Zionist payroll too You have no clue if the history of Palestine or the Zionist movement Of what you are saying Palestinian people are not in your perspective You should have married a Jew. You are lying about Saudi Arabia. …. You are jumping from Pakistan to UK to Saudi to USA. …. Where are you going to settle You have not shed any light on the death , rape , genocide of Palestinians over the last 75 years SHAME ON YOU 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸Long live Palestine 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
Thanks, Ben.

WHERE CAN YOU FIND YOUR FILM
The lady seems like such a fun person to smoke with
Zionist and mudlim Brotherhood are somewhat the same people. This woman should not represent Islam. Why is she so much against Muslims but praising Zionist. Very suspicious.
First off, the actors playing the father and son were completely believable. I felt like I was watching their real life together. They just broke my heart, then cracked me up, and then broke it again. Then the ending put my heart back together better than it was before! This will probably be remembered as a breakout movie for Jason Field. Don’t miss it.
Yasher koach, Jeremy and Ami! Thank you for being visible Modern Orthodox and MO-adjacent queer role models and bringing your experience to a worldwide audience. I agree with Jeremy's assessment that the gay Modern Orthodox perspective is underrepresented. I so rarely see my own experience in film and media. It means a lot that this film exists and is being shared in religious communities.
Movie is off the hook 👊🏿I played the Sercurity guard
Wonderful film😊

Part one of thirty one… Where are the remaining thirty ?! FFS
Sebastian Haffner is a new discovery for me - I love his writing, for its literary quality and its honesty.
These people are all heroes especially beatrice weber and the former naftuli moster.
What's the name of the books that Dagmar's husband wrote? Would be interested to know more about this story!
Uno dei libri si chiama Whispering Birches
Four guests and three names seems a little off indeed…
I could of sworn I was one of the people there too
👍
Is there a part 2 to the interview? It cut off suddenly.
Wonderful documentary. I watched it five times and it kept me on the edge of my seat every time. Looking forward to more work by Maya and her amazing crew.
I haven't stopped thinking about this movie since I saw it. Stunning. ❤
I think Misha was badly damaged by her early childhood and this fantasy life was something she created for herself was the result.
This was a delightful event, thank you so much to all who made it happen.
Mark
SO powerful. Such candor. Thank you.
I could relate to your situation. I lost both my parents and going through "STUFF" is difficult. I am still going through stuff but they bring the memories .
So glad I watched your story, your film. Resonated with me. I took a different path with similar choice offerings. But The Stuff. Wrestling with the stuff. Wishing you and Thea the healthiest happiest of years to come. Thank you for this multi-generational love story.
It would have been interesting to hear an explanation from Misha as to why she started this lie. She has a lot of nerve and is truly despicable, but it would had been interesting to hear her point of view.
one of my top favorite movies I have ever seen
I sooo love that show
Just listening to Joy makes me homesick for Israel even though I've only been there for a total of around 6 or 7 months.
The mobility of simplicity is independent in its independence.
😍 P R O M O S M!!
I'm grateful to be able to see this discussion and learn more about these films. As mentioned, silence was, indeed, a part of the Hungarian jewish post-Holocaust 'tradition'. My parents and elder sisters were Hungarian and emigrated to the US in 1956. It wasn't until I was almost 18 that I learned that my father was jewish and a holocaust survivor. He was extremely reticent to talk about it and the only way I was able to learn a bit more about his experience was when I traveled with him to visit family living in Israel who were also survivors in the same camp.
put charlottesville in perspective. the right was trying to recruit people to go there for almost a year. they got about 300 people (maybe 600). that's about 1 out of a million. the media has hyped that incident to the extreme.
So many words, words, words, without much substance. If one reflects on what did you come away from this movie for more than an hour, what are you left with? Sunday soldiers reflecting on past event without Day/Meir to respond.
La acabo de ver... Me encantó. Que dolor ver al personaje de Iván mirándola, era evidente que aún habían sentimientos ahí... #CliffhangerAlert!
I live in Belgium for the biggest part of my life and am 60 years old - NEVER heard about that story and that is STRANGE to say the least. Maybe, it is one of the distracters that was meant to put me on a sideline and burn my books, even before I was ready to publish them. Midnight Mass is a fair view on church and religion, this is, without any doubt, some kind of a hoax - because I am one of a kind, people think it's easy to manipulate the narrative, but they forget that I was trying to see the whole picture, not the jigsaw puzzle. People refuse to talk WITH me, so they talk about me in many ways. I'm digging deeper than the different religions, that still divides the crowd to feed the conflicts. Her story even can't be true, mine IS TRUE in all its details and that's the difference between following a script and adjusting to the reality. It NEVER was my choice to get out of my comfort zone, but I never had the choice to do it differently. I was the only one in the world, who had the knowledge that we need to get out of the impasse - I was the one expected and I was the Gentile Bride, who's groom is the PREDICTED DEATH that does not fear me. It's not the first time that I leave a body, that was my vehicle during one specific life and I can remember earlier lifes the same way I can remember movies, which could be a pretty good disclaimer. The 'oldest' one, is 26.000 years ago - it's obvious that nobody can travel that period of time without using several bodies to make it up till the end. Now I know who I am, I take the little roads to get what I desired - of course, my life will be written in books, but that's for later, now, I observe the world in denial and know that there's still a long raod to go ... It never will be Armageddon, it never will be Eden as well, but each one of us play the main role in the story of his or her life and only few can claim they knew me for real. It's a sad conclusion, but I wanted to know the truth and nothing but the truth, so I accept the good and the bad insights as part of one big story that was meant to be givven to the collective - I did my job with a loving heart and that shouldn't be a surprise!!!
Can I connect with Ms Elizabeth Varet
This whole documentary is just a constant piggyback of greed, even all the way to Netflix...and also fucking FASCINATING.. WOW
this woman, misha, crazy misha who can't tell the truth for two sentences was also an 'authentic' survivor of the holocaust. how upsidedown. both evelyn and misha had parents who were killed by the nazis, but somehow evelyn is authentic, but the non jewish woman is not an authentic victim. how upsidedown. or the more normal woman is an authentic survivor but the less normal woman is not. how annoyingly upsidedown. the gypsys were also 'authentic' survivors of the holocaust, if they in fact survived. this is so annoying.
somebody farted
I enjoyed the movie very much!

TRES Cool!!
I'm dying to find about something. I got a question about some loose end. What happened to the real Yoav Mazuz? Did he survive his wound and the war? Did he and Dafna reunited in real life? I was kind of mad that they didn't close that chapter on the series and let us know what happened to them. Thanks!
THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION . YES YOAZ MAZUZ SURVIVED AND CONTINUED TO SERVE ISRAEL AND WAS EVEN PART OF THE BIG MISSION IN 2001 INVOLVING THE ATTACKS ON THE TWIN TOWERS IN NEW YORK.
Thank you so much! What a lovely touching film!
