Mark and Donna Whelan of Marie Thomas Homes bought a plot of land in Barrowford, the Pendle district of Lancashire.
On this unique, sloping site, they are renovating an old barn house, as well as constructing five multi-million pound new-build homes. One of these homes - bought by a local, multi-millionaire businessman - has requested that a top-spec gym and swimming pool be added to his plot: a first for Mark.
