I'M sorry to hear that, scan it first n see what you can find, usually a bad solenoid will trigger a code but in some cases it does not, hopefully it is not the tranny, also see the condition n level of the fluid at the time of the failure.

spark tester has no connection in the wire, I failed to show that, you don't need to connect it to any ground because of the way I made the set up.

the solenoid valve SL regulates the hydraulic pressure to provide a smoother gearshift, the valve controls the lock-up clutch when it receives signal from the PCM ( the PCM schedules the signal to this valve) it is to say the signal from the PCM is not permanent to this valve SL.

insert a small flat head screw driver between the valve tube n the hose n go all the way around with the tip of the crew driver inserted between tube n hose n that is how you loose it n then twist it n pull it out kind of putting some force, make sure you hold the bottom hose so you dont stretch it too much so you dont damage the other hoses

it is possible but results might be inaccurate since the wires run from the solenoids to the PCM and during all journey that creates resistance, so doing it on the pin on the solenoid is accurate n that is why Toyota says to do it on the pin.

not exactly the same on the 4.0l (1uz-fe) p0763 shift solenoid no.3 you open oil pan, remove shift solenoid num 3 and test it, positive multimeter lid to the pin of solenoid and neg multimeter lid to the body of the solenoid, RESISTANCE: 11 TO 15 OHMS AT 68F DEGREES, ALSO IT WILL MAKE AN OPERATION SOUND IF IT IS FINE.

cant remember now have to look at the software but you can find a used one on ebay or amazon or at the dealer, if you getting it from the dealer you have to bring the old one and show it to them so they can give you the right one, these solenoids have some numbers on it but Toyota does not go by that

normally because of the way you are describing it this is an internal transmission failure n not a solenoid, check fluid n scan for pending codes or if you can test the solenoids is even better.

@@mairasan-ud5ih We already rebuilt the whole transmission about a month ago with new recommended ATF. What do you mean internal problems? Or how about the transmission Valve Body? cause its not brand new. But when engine's hot after warming up for couple mins and D gear is reacting it's good already even you shift it to any gears as long as the engines still running. But if you shut it off for a few hours and get back to it after long period of time then face the same issue and do the same routine warm up first for 15mins and so on before D gear will react.hehehe

@@jeffyjjabonero1812 was it like that before rebuilding it? any delay shifting or hesitation to go forward is a tranny problem n yes could be valve body problem, some bad solenoids will cause problems when tranny is cold but once they reach normal temp they start working fine or do the opposite even if there are no codes at all, im just based on your description.

@@JayKay-675 I haven't not yet cause I'm still looking where to buy the right shift solenoid even online it's difficult to find the exact shift solenoid I did bought last week thought it will fit but it doesn't and already paid for it and still dealing with the seller online for some replacement and they just want me to wait since there's no available.
