Do not let the reader of the preface, who is terrible with a lisp and unable to pronounce words longer than 5 letters, put you off, The actual story is well read and worth taking the time to listen to.

Thnx man, been reading Lee Child's "Reacher" series as fast as he had them published. After years of La Carre, Ludlum, Crighton, Christy, Doyle, Kipling, Mitchner, Grisham, and missing the late great Elmore Leonard, Lee Child's style is a breath of fresh air, literally! 👍

This is a really good story But the lack of distinction in characters voices makes it confusing at times To bad! And yes Reacher needs a male voice.

As a marine who served during the time this book was written I read it in the desert of Twenty Nine Palms Ca. during a CAX exercise that lasted about 12 weeks , bought it at a mall in Indio and read it front to back with about 4 guys leaning over my shoulder while I read it out loud because we were launching our helicopters and then having to wait for them to return from the training flights,since then I have probably reread it about a dozen times and I have to say it never gets old or boring, I don’t think that anyone has written a better war novel even was if it is a work of fiction,Tom Clancy was a master of this type of story.
