I am starting to see a pattern where most people save for retirement to live, however often don't expect to be hit with so many medical bills along the way. I couldn't imagine what you had to go through when your wife passed, especially after sticking together for so long. Sounds like she was very lucky though to have someone like yourself love her so much. Thank you for your words of encouragement and I hope I can keep reminding myself to be grateful for what I have now and take any challenging situation as a learning lesson 🙏 😊

@davegoodridge8352 Crazy how different places have totally different water conditions. Even though the water is blue, there are lots of jellyfish that can cause a nasty sting if you're not careful, that's why we get the fancy suits to wear while swimming:) Oh, and there are also many crocodiles swimming around too! You don't want to bump into one of them while in the water 😬

@@LightnMadsjust what you do and things like that already helps. I’m about to get my puppy and where I live there isn’t puppy classes unfortunately so I need to do all by myseld

@MA-xd9zl it can be challenging in the beginning but keep consistent with your puppy's training and the more you put into your dog's training and wellbeing (going out for adventures/walks/playing) the more you get out of them as they age. I have another video coming out this Friday with Ben again if you keep an eye out for that one too :)

@@LightnMads im just afraid I won’t be able to provide enough exercise cause I’ve seen people saying they spend 6 hours with their puppy a day 🫠

@mth469 There is a sheep herding school not too far from where we live. They teach you how to unleash your dog's free spirit! Only thing is that each session costs a decent amount of money. So currently we have not been attending any classes due to this reason (we were going for a couple sessions otherwise). Ishka has been neutered so unfortunately no pups for her 😢

@@LightnMads Inquire at the school if you could pay a (small) fee to have your dog run around with a two or three lambs. Tell them you don't need her trained to be a full fledged sheep dog. But rather just for her to get the feel of seeing and doing what her life's mission is all about. If not, ask them to suggest something for a small fee. Call and ask, worst they can say is no.

It was nice and cosy at the Duck Inn. We even tried out the restaurant down stairs and the staff were lovely 😄

Haha yes. We had to evacuate one time at about 5 o’clock because the fire alarm went off. It was a big of smoke from the kitchen so we just waited around playing chess by the gas fire until dinner 😂 and we did our fair share of tobogganing to the right of the entrance. One time my friend was scooting himself back in order to get the most out of the slope, he went so far back he starting sliding down backwards into a dip at an entrance of another building 😂

@maxxiemad. 😂 hahaha that's so funny you mentioned. As we were waiting in the entrance for our shuttle back to the car park the fire alarm also went off. Apparently someone burnt some toast in the staff kitchen 😂
