    Sir can u tell me what will the holding conpany do 1) if the subsidary company run by management revolts and stops transfering profits to the parents company. Will they be fired from their job ?. How will th parent compahy ensure that the subsidiary conpany managemet is kept under control and dosent betrays the parnet company by declaring that they no longer are part of the parent conpany declared by managemnt 😅 Just curious to know

    How does berkshire hathaway participate in the buying and selling of shares in public company What do they use? (brokerage account, investment vicheal)

      Berkshire uses brokers to buy and sell shares. They invest as either Berkshire Hathaway the holdco or as one of its many subsidiaries.

    Wow! I doubled checked these numbers and that seems about right. Philanthropy is much smaller than public markets. I guess that's to be expected in retrospect, but good to see the numbers.
