Sonic Spinball on the Sega Genesis. Never played this one before until I captured footage for this video. Not a bad pinball style game for its time. I'll definitely give this one some more time. Footage captured from the Sega Genesis mini. #sonicspinball #sonic #sonicthehedgehog #genesis #segagenesismini
Arrow Run Gameplay (XBox 360 Indie)

Arrow Run on the XBox 360. This one is one of the indie games from the XBox 360 indie shop. Basic, just follow the arrows to the end of the screen. Almost seems like the old Atari game, Maze Craze, but with arrows. #arrowrun #indiegames #xbla #xboxlive

Full game of NHL Faceoff on the Playstation, Colorado Avalanche vs. Montreal Canadiens. Great first effort by Sony at a hockey game. Played several seasons of this over the years. Got this when it first released and can't let it go. Still a pretty solid hockey game today. #hockey #ps1 #sonysports #avalanche #canadiens #videogames #retrogaming #nhlfaceoff
Donkey Kong Jr. Full Game

Donkey Kong Jr. gameplay on the NES. Definitely my favorite home port of the arcade game. Not arcade perfect, but as close as you'll get on a home console. Full game.

Sol-Feace Full Playthrough (Sega CD)
Переглядів 633 місяці тому
Full playthrough of Sol Feace for the Sega CD. I had never even heard of this one until I bought a small Sega CD lot a couple of years ago. This one isn't bad at all. Gameplay is pretty solid, but tough as nails. The music is really good for the 16-bit era.
Hot Shots Golf 2 18 Holes With Mel On Four Winds Country Club (PS1)

Been quite a while since I played this one, probably 10 years or so. Still holds up pretty well. Finishing at even par for the 18 holes, I can't complain since I hadn't played it in so long.

Cake Invaders Gameplat Levels 1-17 (XBox One)
I was never familiar with the original arcade version of Jungle Hunt. I'm surprised by the colors, and the overlapping parallax effects. Jungle Hunt could be cloned for a modern game using single button controls. Very suitable for touch screen control.
I loved the arcade version of this and the Atari 2600 port was pretty solid too. I captured this footage from Taito Legends from the original XBox. Im looking at upgrading some of the equipment I use to capture (upscaler and capture card) hopefully sometime next year. I need to hook it up on my CRT and see how it looks. Anything red seems to be bright and blur worse than other colors. I think that is mainly due to my cheap capture card. Thanks for checking it out.
@@bigsilentrob I'm not sure I ever saw the arcade version more than maybe a few times. I'm most familiar with the C64, Atari 2600, and ColecoVision ports. None of them had color palettes suitable for capturing the look and feel of the original.
@IsaacKuo, oh, okay. I understand what you mean now. Yeah, the arcade was much more colorful than the 2600 version. That's the only home port I've played. I played the arcade a lot as a kid. I go back to this version on Taito Legends as well.
I would have put Defender 2/Stargate instead of Defender on this list as Stargate/Defender was one of the most amazing 2600 arcade ports - right up there with Ms./Jr. Pac Man, Kung Fu Master, Klax, Road Runner, and Tapper as far as later arcade ports for the 2600
Ms. Pac-Man and Jr. Pac-Man are both fantastic games. I missed out on a lot of the later arcade ports, but will definitely look into those. How did they pull off Kung Fu Master with only one button?
Tinha um outro jogo de ps1 parecido com esse só que se pareciam com bilas caindo, alguém sabe o nome desse jogo? Eu to procurando ele em toda parte mas eu não lembro do nome dele
Sorry, that doesn't sound familiar at all. I did some Google searches with no luck. I'll keep looking though.
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love Retro Donkey Games !
Thank you. I love the retro Donkey Kong games as well, with this one being my favorite.
PS1 memories are flooding in! 😅
Still one of my favorite PS1 games. Probably going to do a full playthrough for the channel soon. I haven't played through it in a long time.
Thank you for this,, you are the only one who did this video
Thanks for checking it out. I plan to do an updated video for this sometime next year commemorating the 30 year anniversary of the US launch of the console.
Shelly Raymond
It's was officially on GSN.
Originally on CBS in the mid 80s when I first started watching it.
Bigsilentrob you shall play no straight roads!
Going from sega genesis and snes to ps1 and seeing this demo was amazing. These graphics blew everybody away. Lol good memories
Good times for sure. Going from 16-bit to 32-bit was a huge leap. I still enjoy a lot of those games today.
Hi
Hello
👍👍
This one is a lot of fun. Never played it until I started playing it digitally.
My reaction when I see Resident Evil at number 1: Ha,I was expecting that! 🙂
My tastes change all the time. I'm looking at redoing the list sometime next year around the 30th anniversary of the US launch. I've put some more time into several of these games, so the list will definitely change
It's on KCAL 9 & KPTV 12.

Mk2 raiden’s head is kano’s but mirrored, given a different skin tone and has his hat on the top
Never noticed that, but now I'll have to go look again.
This song has lived rent free in my head since I was 12 years old. Cap'n Hands was also my favorite character. This game was gold for its time.
I love the soundtrack to this game. I ripped the tracks from the disc to my computer years ago. I have it all on my phone now. It gets a listen pretty often.

These games are underrated and me myself never paid much attention to them either. It wasn’t until I played Echo Night and Tecmos Deception that I started appreciating games like this and even Myst I really got into. The puzzle aspects of these style of games with darker atmosphere is truly satisfying.
I really enjoyed this one. Never played it until I picked it up a few years ago. Echo Night is an excellent game as well. D was a great horror puzzle game for its time too.
holy crap nostalgia. This demo disc was where I first played Silent Hill and it has always stuck with me
This is where I first played Silent Hill as well. It wowed me when I first played it and bought the game soon after it was released and still have it in my collection today. I have a bunch more of these OPM demo disks and hope to add more of these to my channel in the future.
@@bigsilentrob I would love to get a copy of this demo again and that Pizza Hut demo disc with Metal Gear Solid on it. That was where I first played that game
Pizza Hut had some solid demos (no pun intended). I wish I had those. The Picks demo that came with my launch console is probably my favorite demo disc ever. That thing was loaded.
🥲👍 merci pour le souvenir, c'est si bon à revoir.
Name Something people take from a Hotel Room lets see they take towels they take the tiny shampoo and conditioner bottle's the bar of soap washcloth's toilet paper maybe the bedding
Yep, all of what you said there. I don't know who they poll for some of these questions.
i had to look up playstation picks because i couldnt remember what age i started walking to school by myself. this confirms i was 9 years old at the time. so i probably started around 8 or even 7. i remember telling my friend to ask my dad if we could play his playstation because i was too scared to ask.
Good ol days. Seems like when you're a kid, your parents are more likely to say yes to your friend rather than you. Weird how that works. When I was about that age, my dad's friend had an Atari 2600 and I'd always go with him so I could play it. We didn't have one yet. I'd spend hours playing Yars Revenge and Laser Blast over there.
If you played with console game and later on your xbox original has been fried
Not exactly sure what you mean by this
Your Xbox original is broken
Isn't there 104 titles? At least that's what Google claims.
I've seen a list that has Dare Devil Derby 3D and Space Hulk, but neither had releases. I've never seen anything for Dare Devil Derby 3D. Space Hulk has a few promo boxes but was never officially released.
Love this game.. Specially when u beat a level in less steps to beat level. And if u play when u get x levels in and it teaches u new things to do don't forget what you learned as u can beat levels with 2-3 steps needed.
One of my favorite puzzle games. Me and my wife have had some epic battles on this one over the years. She usually beats me though.
I love these BK games honestly. They're mindless fun and every time i play them i eat a whopper within a day it 2, so the gimick worked! The pocketbike racing is fun as hell too. Amd these games were like, what, 5 bucks new at a BK??
They're better than I thought they'd be. I found them all at Goodwill for a buck a piece. I think they were $5 at BK. I just played them all for the first time when I made this video.
Is the thumbnail your longbox collection?? Because that's incredible if so! I have like 20 LBs, but they are games that mean a lot to me. Do you have a collection video? Id love to watch that...
Yes, that thumbnail is my longbox collection. All 102. I don't have all the variants, but I have one of each of the 102. I don't have a video up of my whole collection/game room, but it is something I'd like to do in the future.
i was looking 4 this ,,thanks..
Greatest demo disc of all time..
This is my 1995! At least my September... I preordered the PS1 and got ESPN Extreme with it. And i played this demo until i was sick of it! Today, i finally own every single game on this demo... I'd give anything to go back to that time!
I pre-ordered mine back then too. I still have the sampler CD that I received when I pre-ordered. I got Street Fighter the Movie with mine and it's still one of my guilty pleasure games. I picked up ESPN Extreme Games a couple of weeks later. October 7th, I picked up MK3 (the reason I got the console in the first place) and Toshinden. That will always be my favorite era of gaming.
@@bigsilentrob absolutely, the 3rd gen is my bread and butter too. Yeah I have the Hear it Now Play it Later disc too. That time ('95 - '97) is my favorite time in gaming.
Hear It Now Play It Later. I couldn't think of that to save my life. Totally agree, the best few years of gaming were at that time. I love the Saturn and N64 as well. Great times!!
@@bigsilentrob we're brothers in that, man! I'll add the Panny 3DO, too. These systems were just so important to my high school-brained soul at the time. Anyway, if you're still making videos I'm subbed.
Why use the code though?
Obviously because I suck. Did you not see how many times I died? Even 35 years ago, I was never able to beat it without the code.
@@bigsilentrob You "Suck" because you rely on the code too much. I have beaten both Salamander and the USA life force here in japan when I was in HS since I got into retro games a few years ago, I'd much rather you play in a stream and watch you try to beat the game with out the code and watch you get better over time, it will really pay off in the end when you do.
Awesome job! Life Force is so underrated! Really like how Konami used the code for this too, so many people associate that with just Contra
Thanks!! After seeing this code in a few Konami games, growing up, I started calling it the Konami code. This is by far my favorite shooter on the NES and one of my favorite shooters of all time. I like how it alternates from horizontal to vertical after each level.
@@bigsilentrob That’s something most games wouldn’t try, but the extra effort really paid off
It was original for sure. I guess that's why I keep coming back to it.
Jumping flash
Such a classic, underrated game. I'd love to see a sequel, remake, remaster or something for this franchise.
You can get all of the stern pinball tables cheaper on the pinball arcade.
Nice!!
wipeout❤
I like Wipeout XL (2097) better, but the original is an all time classic.
Привет крутые видео
Thanks for watching.
You forgot about Space Hulk.
Didn't forget. It wasn't an official release.
@@bigsilentrob Yeah but it was still made. It could have been listed in the video as unreleased.
@@steppingoctopus6905 Gives me a reason to do an update video in the future. That and a lot of these rankings will change as I've gotten more into some of the stuff I've bought from 2018-2020 that I missed in the 90s.
Whats up Rob!!!!!!???
What up?!?!?
It’s amazing the PS1 took off so well, a lot of these games didn’t age well. Musta just been blinded by the newness of the console
There are several of the early PS1 games that are hard to play now, but there are also a bunch from this era that I love to go back and revisit.
I think the puzzles get harder as you progress similar to intelligent qube that's why the game gives you more steps to take at times
Totally agree. They do get harder as it progresses.
Family Feud, but with no family.🥲
Just Feud. Lol
The Living Room was very nice 👌 😌 I was wondering if the teacher tote backpack will make an appearance again anytime soon as I have to drive out that way at least once a week anyway I have no worries I would have been on my bucket for the night so I'm gonna be there tmw morning Kendall I just want you mama

I love the Wipeout series, Wipeout XL being my favorite. I finally picked up Jumping Flash in 2020. I need to find a copy of the 2nd one.
guess you missed out then
@@felix-ve8jk any slight contact with the wall was almost a complete stop. I got the omega collection 25 years later and its pretty good
I give you a challenge.. Do a 4 way with PinballFX on PS4. YES - Finally released with Bride of Pinbot..
It seemed harder when playing a proper table. Kudos to you.
I'm with you 100% there. I've put up a lot bigger scores on the digital table than the actual table. I've never gotten a 4 way combo on the real thing. I got a few 3 way combos though.
@@bigsilentrob 4 times is HARD. GRAVEYARD LOOP, up to thing, Ramp and then Graveyard. Videos show other but NOT tried and tested.
@@bigsilentrob 4x combo is nice. just get as achievement. not worth the money!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. This is one of my favorite puzzle games from that era.

Brb, bout to cry.
Nostalgia at its finest.
The nostalgia man! mid to late 90s was a great time to live! Not just the games but the movies and shows Hercules, Xena, X Fles, SLiders, Voyager, DS9, Babylon 5, Cleopatra 2525, Jack of all Trades, WWE attitude era MOvies like Armageddon, Deep Impact, Phantom Menace, Jurassic PArk 2 and games like Doom, Rsident Evil, Tomb Raider, Diablo, XCOM Of course by the late 90s I discovered the wonderful world of PC gaming and found legendary games like Baldurs Gate, DarkStone, Nocturne, Carnivore, Everquest and Diablo 2
The PS1/N64/Saturn is my favorite era of gaming. I have a ton of Official Playstation Magazine demo discs that I'm planning to start playing and uploading in the near future. Picks was such a great demo disc.
