Would you say it’s possible to improve teaching fresh new white belts and going to open mats once a week with higher belts. I’m currently a fresh newly promoted purple belt. Been having some financial problems so I decided to start a club in my university, although the only problem Is for some reason I’m the only one that actually trains grappling, so I agreed to teach my fellow school mates so long as they come daily 4 times a week. reason why I can’t really train with people my level and higher on the daily is cause the travel restrictions in my country is still a bit hectic due to covid, that and because of financial problems. so I pretty much said I rather train and teach than only train once a week. Im just scared that I won’t be able to reach black belt level(the actual belt to me is just a plus, it’s the skill I’m worried about) as I’m also aspiring to have a gym of my own one day.

Can hella relate man. Homesick tends to hit ya in like the most un suspecting moments. When I went to do my first 2 years of uni I had to leave for Germany. Didn’t really effect me, but those moments when ur alone heading somewhere, and you got that silent peaceful vibe. 2 minutes later u just tear up and say "miss ko na sila"
