My deepest condolences ❤, I lost my baby brother at the age of 35 right after his birthday on Christmas eve! it was an unexpected death too! So I know that feeling . Christmas has been the same.

Please tell me if the "pinks" you showed overwinted or were they planted in the spring I think they are also called dianthus. I'm thinking that if they overwinted without cover in zone 5 they would where I am in North Carolina

I love creeping phlox. It has such long lasting, beautiful blooms in the Spring. My favorite for preventing weeds is Ajuga. I use Princess Crown. It has beautiful blue blooms in the Spring. I hope you can get all your plants planted!

My Lamium has spread probably 4 feet in a couple years, Hannah. I may have put 2 plants there to begin with.

I recently put a Miss Molly butterfly bush in too, Hannah. A branch was dangling loosely on it, and I put it in moist soil and it has rooted as well. The cottage gardens are looking good.
