I play on xbox and to do the glitch, you have to have a part that can flip, which is the Y button. Press twice and then hit B to release while red. You have to have at least one free attachment spot. You can also use the variant button, which is left or right dpad, then B. This will yield the same result.

You are still limited to one grav drive, unless you mod the game. In this build, it was just to hide the drive within the reactor. I have hidden up to three main items in the same spot. Grav drive, reactor, and fuel tank.

@@SOMBUMgaming strange i tried that glitch n it doesn't work for me on Xbox. the pieces drop over not down.

So I play on Xbox and use the controller, some parts can get a little tricky when doing the flip trick. Make sure you have at least one free attachment point when doing the flip and then hit “b” after you have the part in place.

Oh my back porthole didn’t snap correctly so after a few minutes of looking around I realized it was floating. Once that was put in place, the error went away.

Yes it can be seen that way, I’m doing something the game doesn’t generally allow. However, since the glitches are purely cosmetic and I’m not manipulating the mass of the parts or increasing their effectiveness, I personally don’t see it as a problem.

I can justify parts glitches as “custom order” parts your ship builder is providing and installing. It doesn’t help or change performance, it just cleans up the lines and connections.

@ajalbetjr So its still unknown if they stack or not, it seems to be a heavy debate so I just added two. My avoidance is 89% with the two.

89% is the highest you can achieve regardless. The highest tier jammer will give you 89% and the effectiveness of the jammer is tied to your shielded cargo capacity vs your non shielded. Meaning if you have contraband weight higher than your shielded capacity compounded with a empty standard cargo hold your % drops. More reg cargo vs shielded and your % reaches 89% that's the highest. Stacking doesn't help yet. We'll see if they change those dynamics as the game ages.
