I had the same issue right now with some images I saved from the web that were originally pngs. I had to convert them to proper jpgs using XnView, but I’m sure you could photoshop or gimp or some other photo editing software. Cheers hope that helps.

Just so anyone that watches knows. You can actually call/email DaVinci support they will help. Rare these days. Very surprised the quick response from tech support. I;ve been toying with switching back to Premiere but I'm 4 years into using DR. I like that you can call/email and they care. Good luck getting support with Adobe if you have something you can't find on their website/forum/Reddit or elsewhere.

Update. I tried importing those files from my local drive as well. Not just external SSD drive which the rest where imported.

CPU light flashing red right before it cuts off means that the cpu isn’t compatible with that board and it kills it self to make sure you don’t harm the board I believe that may be the same issue as you

You might need to short (screwdriver or scissors) on the front panel (2power pins) Since it doesn’t have a power button. If you are planning to keep it long term, might be better to invest in a separate power button cable
