Hello and welcome to the channel! This channel is two friends going out into the world of magnet fishing and seeing what we can find in the depths around Liverpool and beyond.
2Lads1Magnet are Chris and Jordan.
We have already ventured out on our first magnet fishing trip. As we are from Liverpool we thought it would be stupid to go anywhere else but our home city. We tried our luck for the first time on 19th August at the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. We started in Aintree and went from there.
We hope you can come along on our journey with us!

2. Burscough Mill Magnet Fishing: Knives/Bike/Bolts/Metal Railings & A Ladder!
Hello!!
Welcome back to the channel! So we have ventured out again and this time sees us visit Burscough.
We did a little bit of research online regarding the area and the history of the mill and decided to try out luck. The mill has now been converted into apartments and is still under going reconstruction.
The area itself is very nice and is a short walk from the canal bridge in the centre of Burscough. There are lots of pubs and shops in the area so if you need to grab a drink or a bite to eat you are not far out from them.
The area here has a lot in the canal. We pulled out a lot of old railway pieces and we think they could be from the bridge that runs alongside the mill to the left of it. This is still a working line so please be careful around the bridge itself.

1. Liverpool Leeds Canal Aintree Magnet Fishing. What Did We Find?!
Переглядів 3,4 тис.5 років тому
Hello and welcome to 2 Lads 1 Magnet! We are two friends (Chris & Jordan) and we have been into magnet fishing for a long time watching various magnet fishing UA-camrs! This is the first video to the channel and we hope that you enjoy the quality and the editing. This was the first time we had headed out to try out the equipment we had purchased a few days earlier. Location: Leeds Liverpool Can...
Great to see. I magenta fish and use my drone also. Food video boys
I live In burscough
Me too I go magnet fishing here too.
Just wondering, I dont know why I seem to be the only one able to see the historical significance in certain thing that nobody else can. There are some wow items here what you guys probably cant see. If it's as heavily rusted or corroded, please invest in some magic to check before regarding it as junk. So much history we know has been incorrectly recorded and the things such as 12.34 mins into ur vid, items like this with very gentle drying and cleaning can honestly change written history!! ( rust remover treatment gels, krust green gel is excellent also rustins rust remover is a strong one but be sure no glass or stone are on the item as they wont be there long. A simple oil such as wd40 will help you first determine if rust is rust or if u have an item with historical decorations or runes. Please dont immediately disregard for junk, so many folk are to quick to be in hunt for shiny sparkles and the real treasure is being lost forever! Rant done x keep on hunting
I’m the same. Anything I consider to look old, I keep and derust.
Hi awesome content loved this video I just subscribed keep up the good work I've ordered loads of stuff to do with magnet fishing
Nice to see some local lads doing good, I live very close to that bridge you where at
Me and my little bro used to nail perch all day long under that bridge good times!
The first item that you pulled out (red bent metal) is a rail clip made by Pandrol. Used to fasten the rails to the sleepers
As if you moved the railing that's been there forever
As a resident of Burscough I can confirm that the railing has been there for a while indeed. Infact it was there for so long I didn’t even realise it was a railing until i watched this.
