need that kit since i used to work these planes
Great kit, pity it was a crap plane.
Looks an amazing kit!
Hi Clive, the A-10 is looking absolutely fantastic, itvwould be one of my favourite USAF aircraft, you have given some great tips on building the kit, I liked hearing the family in the background, the Stallion is certainly a beast of a chopper, looking forward to the next update, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Thanks Les it’s the school hols so they’re a bit noisy, glad you enjoyed it thank you buddy 😀💙👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Clive the undercarriage bays are white on A10C's, only light grey on early A10A's
Ah thank Allan I’m lost without my ref book I have on the A-10C, have a great week buddy 😀💙👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
how did you get CH53E 48scale?
Hey buddy I had it for years it’s the Academy kit, I started it some 17 yrs ago 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 I am korean and here's information that academy would release CH53E 48scale again with new decal and additional parts at after 3rd quarter 2024. Then Wolfpack inc.will make and release their CH53E resin parts again. Hope be helpful information for you.
@@user-yy8pm2tf2o why thank you very much that’s fantastic news 💙👍🏻 I do want to make another one as it’s a huge beast plus I can improve on the one I’m finishing now. Thank you buddy that’s great news 😀💙👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
The details on that kit look really good, I’m going to get one. I love the A-10. Sorry to hear you were having medical issues Clive but I am glad these have been sorted out. We all have rough patches to get through. I never get bored with your rambles, they help take my mind off my problems and your modelling tips are very helpful. See you in the next one. ☺️
Ah Ronald you are a true gent thank you buddy💙, it’s definitely worth getting mate I’m sure it’s going to make up into a fantastic model 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧

About time you finished that emirates 773 fella 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Chris you sod you that bloody model will haunt me till the end, I got another kit to replace it and I’ve no idea how many sets of Emirates decals I’ve had but it’s a few 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Hi Clive, it looks to be a great kit, do you know how it comparex to the Academy version? Best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Hi Les yes so compared to the academy kit it’s far superior, I’ve built the academy kit and although it’s good this offering in my honest opinion is blooming awesome mate. I’m gona try build this one on the channel I’ll let all know nearer the time 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Good to hear your feeling better
Thank you Phil 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Clive your the Harry Potter of UA-cam modellers lol. For a guy hiding under the stairs, you make some amazing builds 👍👍
Thank you buddy your very kind 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
👍🏽🥳
you are right - it is a funny scale !
made some bulkheads for mine to try and bring tub back to square ! added balsa bulkhead near back door so I can have it open a little bit . Also hate the poly caps- its not as if you are going to be able to play with it , the driving rollers are fixed in place . Just makes all the wheels floppy . enjoying the build ! best wishes from Wales .
The poly caps are a pain in da butt 😂 pesky things💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Dear Clive, Looking very nice sir! Those pens and paints could be very useful… Regards, Z
Many thanks z 💙😀👍🏻
Nice looking work on the cockpit tub Clive👍
Cheers Steve 💙😀👍🏻
Hey Clive Watching the vid, happy Sunday you all 😁🍻👍

❤
❤ I'm looking forward to building it. I got this limited edition from Revell and I also bought the B-52 in 1:48 from HPH Models. I'm excited to see your results.
hi there its a great kit but defo needs updating, mine has suffered some hanger rash over the years so she now needs some new resin exhausts. I need to finish her but its a case of going to get her from the lock up, not seen her in 2 years now
Niice one mate. These planes are now being operated by our RNZAF✈️👍🇳🇿
Get rid of it it keep the rest for spare parts
It’s finished now it’s not been to any shows yet so I might brave my clubs last show in September
Maybe the guy who checked the kit was having a bad hair day or he had a Barney with his missus
Hi Barry the chap who was responsible for the design of this kit was sacked by Revell then black listed, I don’t think he’ll be designing anymore
Hi Clive, great work. Are they Posca pens mate?
Hi Lee no they’re these ones link below amzn.eu/d/aQL2Ap6
Hi Clive! 👋🏻☺️ Missed you. Phantom looks great.
Hey Ron how’s you buddy it’s been a while eh 😀👍🏻💙🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 I’m ok and yes it’s been awhile. Didn’t know you were having surgery on your hand. I’m putting the Revell 1/72 B-17F kit together as part of a Flying Fortress group build but I’m such a slow builder and some of the kit parts are finnicky to fit, that I’ve fallen way behind.
@@ronaldbyrne3320 wow nice one bud I love those big ww2 bombers I’ve a Tamiya 1/48 Lancaster and a Revell 1/48 B-17 as well to build, take care buddy and good luck catching up with your build 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 thanks mate. 😄 Those big WWII bombers look awesome.
Clive did you get those paint pens off Amazon or a local shop.
They certainly did come from Amazon UK they were £6.99

hey Scott you ok bud
Glad to see you back Clive, my sub feed has missed you.
Thank you kindly sir
Hey Mr. Clive 😁 Good to see your back buddy !! And with lots of patience and magic black paint. Great job and glad to see your patience is still intact 😉 Regarding the panel line paint, you'll think it can be used at the outside of lexan rc car body's without coming off ?
Off to a cool start Clive👍👍
Cheers Steve 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
did you ever finish it?
Hi John because of all the politics I took down the video and I’ve kept quiet about it, I’ve nearly finished it but I’m now needing new decals as the originals have started to peel off due to being kept in storage. It’s a great kit and goes together nicely just a shame at the time of putting up the video I got some bad comments and had to abort it and take it down 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
Great to see you back at the bench Clive, looking forward to seeing this built up👍👍
Cheers Steve 😀💙👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Thanks for this Clive. I'd been trying to figure out if the Takom AH Mk.1 kit included the blade fold setup for a display I need to create, and your step through the manual has really helped. From just looking at the boxes I was concerned that the AH Mk.1 kit might not actually include the blade folding option. Given the AH-64D and AH-64E kits both specifically state they include it, but the AH Mk.1 kit doesn't. Looking at your manual though, in particular page 23, and comparing it to the PDF manual for the Takom AH-64D kit on scalemates. It does in fact appear that the Takom AH Mk.1 doesn't include a blade fold option. Which I thought was kind of ironic, given the blade fold mechanism was a pretty notable feature for the production of the AH Mk.1s, enabling them to operate from the ships. What a bummer.
Hi Graeme I’m happy to have been some help on this kit I pulled it down the other day to clean it and felt it was time to do the Meng version, so I’ll hopefully get that kit in the near future then compare the builds. If you need anymore help with her just shout I’m always around, sorry it’s taken me a little while to respond only life has thrown me a curve and I’m just getting back in the saddle, thanks for your interest and support buddy it’s much appreciated 😀💙👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 Thanks for taking the time to reply Clive. Getting back into modelling is one of my quality-of-life pursuits, and I truly love that I can still find folk such as yourself who embody the real sense of why modelling has always been fun. Hope things are on the improve for you mate. Love your work, and love your style. 👍Graeme.
@@graemewright thank you kindly Graeme life has thrown a huge curve at me but I’m slowly conquering it, I’m defo getting the Meng kit of this wonderful helo so as soon as I’ve got it I’ll start the build take care and thank you for your support 😀👍🏻💙🍻🇬🇧
I hope your troubles sort themselves soon...you're a great modeller...keep going....
Hi Steve thank you kindly buddy 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
Cool
Looks cool.
Hello mate, long time no see! How many 737’s have you filled up with aviation fuel in your time?
Hello Chris long time indeed how are you buddy, I can say I’ve fuelled quite a few and put several thousands of litres on them too 💙👍🏻🍻😀🇬🇧
Looks great
Thank you kindly 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
What’s the kit like to work with. Can it be built out of the box with good results? I’m getting a bit fed with aftermarket stuff. The cost mounts up
Hi it’s a fantastic kit from the box and I’ve based my videos on exactly that, straight out of the box unless I get offered any freebies (wishful thinking) 🤣🤣 no even if I do this ones out of the box. The price of everything this day n age is well expensive let alone the hobby 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 Thanks for the reply. Good to know :)
@@RichardsModellingAdventures it has to be the best kit out there to date buddy, I’ve put stills up on fb and I show what you can do with just the kit parts only. I’m hoping Italeri does an F3 version as that’ll be the icing on the cake 😀👍🏻💙
Hi Clive try not to let it get you down keep up the great work was great to talk to you on Monday night with gaffer Radders and dale Regards jim
Thanks Jim all the best buddy, it’s been a while since I had a laugh thanks to you and the others it helped bring me happiness this week thank you 💙💙😀👍🏻🍻🍻🇬🇧
Nice work Clive. Looks the works 💥👍💥
Thanks Dave
Nice calendar mate. 😍 Clive, is that Kinetic Super Etenard a difficult build? I understand the instructions are not precise when it comes to the placement of sticky-out parts, like blade antennas, pods and undercarriage struts. Cheers.
Yeah it’s a pain in the ass for placing things in the rite place, you have to study the plans well and use good reference material apart from that it’s a great kit 💙🍻👍🏻😀🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 thanks Clive. That’s what I hear about Kinetic kits. Still, they look pretty good after you get through the painfully inadequate instructions. ☺️
Looks like an awesomely detailed kit, Clive. Never built a Tornado, and this 1/32 scale kit looks like a good one to start on. Watching your build with great interest. 😁
Cheers Ronald I’ll do my best 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Can never have enough Tornadoes
True 👍🏻
One heck of an instrument panel. Look like Quintas.
Thanks for the compliment 👍🏻😉💙🍻🇬🇧
Hey Clive. Hope your well. 💙
Hi Lee all good thanks how’s you 💙👍🏻🍻😀🇬🇧
On IT tornado ECR: almost always they carry their HARM missiles. You never see them without. In peace time they are carried under the badly. On operational sorties missiles are under the wings, and tanks under the belly. In 2011 sidewinders were not even carried. Hope useful
@@frasca78 thank you that’s really helpful 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
I'm OK thanks Clive. Off myself atm with a back injury from work. Model time for me but I'm also not to enthusiastic. 💙
