Thought I was the only one struggling with this. I get hairs on my mid/upper cheek that aren’t connected to my beard line, and couldn’t get a close enough shave so I started plucking them. Over time the hairs kept getting ingrown and my skin got worse and worse. It’s gotten a little better with some exfoliating and topical creams but I feel like I can’t find a permanent solution

WAHL. It’s very simple.

Been suffering with this plague for over 2 decades of my life. My advice to others with the same issue; never use a white man’s shaver or razor of any kind! Use an Andis T liner or something similar. Leave the blade at the factory clearance. Disinfect your skin after every shave with alcohol. Never go against the grain. Let your skin recover for a few days after each shave, before shaving again. Exfoliate everyday at the end of your shower: pat your face with a towel to remove excess water, then use a coarse grit exfoliant. This will displace the sharp ends of the hair and prevent them from digging into your skin. This has worked for me like a charm over the past 3 years.
