Imo the Soulslike style would be better... mainly cause I HATE the norse duology, I think these games (gameplay wise for both) are a *disgrace* to god of war. Also ragnarok sucks in the story department too

ive been seeing ur stuff on reddit for a while and i must say the progress is immaculate. I truly want this to be a good project and i love the quality of care and work put into it. That being said, the CLANGS from the Dragonslayer arent loud enough.

This is so dope man. It’s awesome you got the studio on board to help, the game itself looks fantastic so far + the gameplay really nails how heavy the dragon slayer is when Guts swings it. If there’s really anything that would be improved other than the general stuff would be the dialogue during combat. For Guts in particular, I think it would be short and to the point. For instance when Puck is warning or trying to help Guts, it’d be more natural for him to say like two or three words since he’s focused on fighting. Here’s an example: “Here, Guts, let me help you!” “I don’t need anybody’s help!” Can be changed to “Shut up!” Imo it sells the same message that he’s doesn’t want anyone’s help still while also being cold and short to the point with it. This is really my only suggestion, but I still can’t wait to see what you make, man!

This mechanic really highlights Guts growing hatred for demons and their ilk.

you should add a running attack where he throws the dragonslayer straight infront of him (kinda like a rapier) (maybe special running attacks aswell for each direciton with wsad) or a spinning slashing attack combo or left and right slashes (maybe so that it uses up stamina or something) theres alot of cool stuff that could be added to this i think just some of my suggestions

Dang this is awesome. I would love to see a thrust or parrys with the dragonslayer too. Using it as a shield for enemies with range weapons.
