Hi, I know this is an older video, but maybe you can tell me. How many gallons did you get into the aquarium. I have the smaller 3.7gal aquarium but I found that I can only get 3 gallons inside.

I love mine it’s quiet and it works great

I have a 3gal and I love it. The light is quite good too. The hydro change is the best part. It's very clean and easy to do water changes and you can pour the water back into the fountain area so you don't bother the substrate. Only thing I don't like is that it is not all glass. The 3gal has a plastic bottom and the filter side is plastic.

LOVE your Malawi tank! In the late 80's and 90's I was fully immersed in the Malawi cichlids. Mostly Labidichromis. After a job change and move I got out of the hobby for 20 years, but got back into it last year, but this time going Tanganikya cichlids and Turkana Jewel from West Africa. Loving them thus far, and have had everyone but the Neolamprologus Caudopunctatus successfully spawn repeatedly.

What's that blue fish in your bedroom? I know you were naming them off but I'm confused what it is. Nice tanks btw.

I used to keep a really beautiful firemouth. It jumped out of the tank.

If you're in higher setting its really hard to lower down. You’ll end up pushing it off the suctions cups

Just picked up and am cycling with ceramic media from another tank. Loving it so far. Power outages are pretty infrequent here…but when I shit it down, it cycles back up and running easily…just like my old Fluval C3 does. I get the idea of the in tank/push pump rather than a suction pump in filter…but I kind of like not having more electrical parts in the tank itself. This filter is everything the AquaClear wanted to be, but wasn’t quite. The flow adjustment is far superior. I just can’t do an ugly black plastic box on my tank, or I would go Tidal. They also have very constricted internal chambers. Great at the job…so if aesthetics are of no import and power outages are common…go Tidal.

Have you tried cherry shrimp or any smaller shrimp i saw someone sugest to someone else to get shrimp to help clean the small spaces in the back but im worried about if they will survive

is there a difference in flow between 600 and 800?

Hi I just acquired a 36 gal bow front. Can you help me out as far as all I need to have to set this up. I don't want tropical fish. I'm thinking bout a few plants maybe. I'd appreciate your help. Which fish are the hardest.

On their channel on here it shows you can open it up. You can either use the filter cartridge or the sponge . ALF LT I think they are called have a simple video on it. I didn’t have issues opening. Maybe a dud on that one?

I bought this tank on impulse. Now that I have it not really sure if it's really safe for smaller fish and how safe is it having those groves for filtering the water . I want to purchase kuhli loach small eels. They are curious fish and like to hide in nook and crannies. I like the idea of closing it off with some sponge. I like live plants and I was wondering how would duck weed or any floating plants would hold up in a tank like that. I also want to scape my tank also. 🤨🤔💬🌿🌿🐟🐟🐟

What size your colomn tank? So i can customize and copt youre tank size. 😊

I'd recommend moving the black sponge to the rear of the filter and then cut out the floss on the cartridge and dump the carbon. You can keep the cartridge but I would purchase a roll of cheap filter pad and cut out a piece to fit onto the blank cartridge.

It's a nice tank. Just a little bit too skinny width wise though.

I have the 20 gallon one switched out the filter to a bigger one but other then that awesome

the 800l actually can be customized with adding more filter chambers. you can add bio media for example. Why do some people only use sponges and other people use 3 different sponges + carbon + loads of bio media and both say there are fine.

I don’t know if I set my thing up correct, but my tank makes so much noise! In the video, his seems almost silent. If anyone can help me out, that would be appreciated:)
