Snowshoeing Adventure in North Idaho! | Full-Time RV Living
Переглядів 2483 місяці тому
We finally catch an opportunity to snowshoe here in North Idaho after a heavy day of snow dropped a few inches up in the mountains! We've only snowshoed once before (maybe 8 years ago?) in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, and even then the snow wasn't as much as we got to experience this day. We had a blast finally getting to experience our first snow activity as we just relocated from C...

To our ...

Nice video! Your footage of the Northern Lights was super cool! You'll love having a generator. Even with high gasoline prices, it's cheaper to run the generator than to get a campsite with electricity. And you won't regret getting lithium batteries! They're really a must for full-timers like us and cheaper in the long-run too. 👍
Good video may I please ask what type of brush you were using to sand the rust down on your hitch?
Hello, it was just a wire brush I got at AutoZone.
Another GREAT adventure on your channel!🎉. I'm EXCITED to see where the Lord leads you, next!👍🤗💖☺️. Keep up the WONDERFUL footage, take care and PRAYERS for your safe travels🙏.
Thank you so much for watching! We have definitely been on a crazy adventure and will be sharing it all in future videos! - Alex
Hi
You may want to check your alignment since you mentioned a tire wearing out. Fyi
Thanks for the heads up! We will definitely get it checked out. Thanks for watching!
Nice footage, especially with the drone, and the music fits well. Scripture is always good to hear! North Idaho has some gorgeous places, and aside from Coeur d'Alene, it's largely still 'undiscovered' by most tourists.
Thank you! Yes it’s definitely a beautiful place! Thanks for watching!
Happy Birthday big J. How is your Outdoors RV holding up in the snow and cold weather? Are you burning through propane?
Hello! The ORV is holding up well. In the colder temps we did go through a lot of propane but it did keeps warm in even sub zero temps
👍
Thanks for watching!
Love you precious!! Thank you Alex for being the worlds greatest son in law, couldn’t ask for more Im beyond blessed watching Gods beautiful creation through your adventures. ❤
Love you Isabel! Thank you for watching! Hope you can join us on one of our adventures soon!

Hello and thank you for sharing your special day with us!🎉. ALWAYS such amazing, awesome and BEAUTIFUL footage ...the scripture reading was perfection. May our Father God continue to bless you both abundantly along your life's journey!👍🤗💖😇
Hello! Thank you so much for the kind words. We are glad you enjoyed the video! God bless you! - Alex
Yummy 😋
Soooo beautiful would never seen this if it wasn’t for you two taking this journey!! Momma thanks you precious!!!
It's beautiful and peaceful
Yes it is! It’s amazing how we had the park all to ourselves. Thanks for watching!
A whisk (kitchen utensil) can help remove the snowballs from your dog’s fur. It’s more comfortable than brushing it out because the snowballs knot the dog’s hair. It sounds crazy😂 but if you look it up on UA-cam, there are videos that show you how!
Hello, thanks for the tip! After dealing with the snowballs we did some research and did hear about using a Whisk. Thanks for watching!
If anyone is interested in learning more about Farragut when it was a Naval Training Center during WWII, definitely checkout this amazing documentary below! We learned a lot from it regarding Farragut's history and its significant impact to WWII. ua-cam.com/video/i3IRg5VKkEE/v-deo.html
Love those drone shots over Lake Pend Oreille! Farragut is a lovely state park. We actually tried tent camping there with our daughter years ago, and it was a disaster. RVing is the way for us to go!
Thank you! Yes it’s a very beautiful place. We started off with many years of tent camping, in all types of weather, however we do also love the benefits of RVing lol.
Such BEAUTIFUL footage and History!🎉. Thank you for sharing, I do TRULY love your channel and all of your talent!👍🤗💖😇. Jasper ALWAYS brings a smile to my face ...he is a very happy dog. Keep up the MARVELOUS content and continue to give FATHER GOD the glory!🙏☺️
Hello, thank you so much for the kind words. My wife truly enjoys making these videos and sharing them. We are glad that you enjoy them! Thank you again and God Bless!
@@justearthenvessels She does DEFINITELY have the eye and a gift for photography & filming!👍🤗💖😇.
Thank you so much!
What a beautiful place to visit. It looks so peaceful and I bet the air smelled so clean. Jasper is so cute and looked so happy playing fetch. So happy for you guys to be able to experience this. The drone shots are fantastic! Good Job Guys!
Thank you so much Tia! We are glad you guys enjoyed the video! Jasper is definitely living his best life. We love and miss you guys!
@@justearthenvessels ❤ We Love and misz you guys too!❤️
This park is absolutely gorgeous!Love your videos and you information on where you are is always interesting..I love Jasper in his boots.
Hi Rosemary! Yes it was definitely beautiful and we only seen a small portion of it. We are glad you enjoyed the video, thank you for watching!
i think i saw a documentary on this area once.
No way that’s cool! We would be interested to watch if you remember the name of it. Thanks for watching!
Another ABSOLUTELY STUNNING video vlog. I never knew it snowed in Idaho ...in June!😳. Your bagels looked DELICIOUS and so did the Tacos!🎉. Jasper is sooooo much FUN to watch and his lil boots ALWAYS give me a 'giggle'!☺️🤭. Thank you both for a BEAUTIFUL share and a lovely walk thru the snow!❄️. Continue to take care, stay safe and be blessed!👍🤗💖😇
Hello, thank you so much for the kind words. We filmed these videos a few months ago just late on posting them lol. It doesn’t snow in Idaho in June 😂. Thank you for watching!
👍
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
There is nothing better than taking a walk through fresh snow and green trees it's just the best feeling.
We agree! Definitely one of the better hikes we have done. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing your videos! It’s great to see scripture added in your content. If your ever in the Meridian Idaho area, your welcomed to visit our church plant. We launch Rapha Church September 22nd. 😎
Hi Samuel, we are glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for the invite, if we are ever in the area we will swing by. Thanks for watching!
Once again another cool video. Home made bagels,, wow!!! How do they taste compared to really good store bought ones? Do you make the dough from scratch or is there a mix you recommend? Never seen them home made before. How was the temp inside the ORV with all the snow?
Hello. We are glad you enjoyed the video! As the main beneficiary to these amazing bagels, I will say that nothing compares to these fresh bagels out the oven. My wife mills her own flour and makes them from scratch, i believe in one of our previous videos she went over the entire process. The ORV has always kept us warm ,65 degrees, even when we were in negative temps!. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely loved watching the beautiful scenery with all that snow, love you guys so much now I’m craving some home made chicken tacos 🌮
Hi Isabel, glad you enjoyed the video. They are the best especially with Chantels homemade tortillas. Love you!
👍👍 video MOTHER NATURE AT IT FINEST .. HERE NY IT GOING TO BE COOL 95 TODAY UGH 23 YEARS IN CORE USMC HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY be safe everyone stay healthy
Thank you for your service! and glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!

Hello Armen, no we are not Armenian. Thank you for watching though.
@@justearthenvessels She looks A lot tho lol you guys are awesome
@@armenpogosyan9140 lol that’s not the first time someone has said that. Thank you so much. - Alex.
Beautiful snow video and love your bagels. Where were you staying that you had snow?
Hi Rosemary, thank you so much! We are glad you enjoyed the video. We were in North Idaho when it snowed but this was filmed a few months ago.
Great video
Hello, we appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching!
👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you for watching!
Really beautiful!
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Winter in the mountains up there is so beautiful! Snowshoeing is quite the exercise though! You guys must also be getting your music from Epidemic Sound. Overall, we've liked it, though there are some genres of music that are extremely thin.
WOW! ...what a FANTASTIC hike, and such AMAZING footage🏔️. Jasper is sooooo happy and playful ...he's a great family dog🐕. I do LUV the love that you & your husband share with us on film, your both so caring and attentive towards one another ...what a blessing. Continue to take care, stay safe and ALWAYS know that ...GOD IS GOOD!👍🤗💖😇
We are glad you enjoyed the video! Jasper definitely loves to play and be outdoors, he is such a blessing to have in our lives. Thank you so much for watching and supporting our channel! 🙏 God Bless.
Your husband is such a gentleman tords you ❤to watch your adventure
Hi Therese, thank you so much! He's definitely an immense blessing to me and I'm very thankful for him. I'm glad you enjoyed our video. Take care!
Good choice in moving to north Idaho. It's a beautiful place that's still welcoming to Christians. There are lots of great churches around, and you're never far from an outdoor adventure of some flavor! ⛰
Nice drone shots! 😉We live only 30 minutes from Fernan Lake and have been up there to cut down our Christmas tree with a free permit from the USFS. It's a lovely place.
Thank you so much! We are still learning but love the content we are able to get with it. No way that’s awesome! It’s definitely beautiful! Thank you for watching. - Alex
So beautiful and Jasper likes to have his head out the window .Luckily you did get to see snow.
Hi Rosemary, Jasper loves anything that’s crazy and involves adventure! Thank you for watching. - Alex
You two are amazing and Jasper too! We’re from Southern California and enjoy the RV life as well. Your video production is very good and will continue to soar with each new episode which BTW, we can’t wait til the next one post every week! But most incredible is the love you have for each other pops through each video. Thank you two love birds for sharing your adventures!
No way! That’s awesome. Maybe we will see you on the road someday. My wife puts a lot of effort into her videos so this will bring a smile to her face! Thank you so much for the support! - Alex
It's so WONDERFUL getting a look into your blessed life🙏. You are a BEAUTIFUL couple ...and I think that's one of the happiest dogs I've ever seen!😊. That certainly is some AWESOME country your living in ...and definitely GOD's MASTERPIECE!🎉. Thank you for sharing, take care, stay safe and ALWAYS be blessed!👍🤗💖😇
Thank you so much for the kind words! We really appreciate it! Yes it is, we continue to be amazed by the Lords creation and how beautiful it is. Thank you for watching!
THIS COMING SPRING IM BUYING MY PROPERTY IN SANDPOINT AREA AND COMING UP IN MY 5TH WHEEL WITH MY OLD ENGLISH SHEEPDOG VIOLET FROM CA, I CANT WAIT
Congrats! That’s so awesome! Sandpoint is beautiful. Our goal one day is to also buy some property. Thanks for watching! - Alex
I have never seen somebody grind thier own wheat, and the knife you used to cut the dough. Where did you learn this technique and what is that knife called?
Hi Shanna, I learned about milling my own wheat berries from “Sue Becker” (she’s on UA-cam). She has a lot of informative videos. As far as my technique I’ve learned a lot on UA-cam and just through trial and error. My dough cutter is called a bench scraper. I hope you enjoyed the video and Thank you for watching :)! - Chantel.
Love experiencing this journey with you both! What a beautiful place God selected for you both to enjoy Alexs 34th bday 🎂 Happy Birthday again to my favorite son in love!!
Thank you Isabel! Love you too! - Alex
What a beautiful video
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it! - Alex
GREAT! just what Idaho needs another cali transplat!
Hi James, We love Idaho and everything it stands for! Thanks for watching!
Hope that was a joke comment! Typical Cali are not religious but immoral miscreants. These folks aren't
Coming from California you realize pretty quick that CA clothes dont translate to ID clothing. The cold here is DIFFERENT , even in southern Idaho. I had to ditch the fleece and go to softshell, or wool, or lightweight down jackets with a Gore-Tex type outer layer to cut the windchill. That and climate appropriate boots. It was a dry year as far as snow but the cold is always around. Since you are full time you can skip the coldest months for the South and come home when its 'nice' (I do enjoy the winter). Enjoy!
Totally true! The wool and down jackets really help. It’s funny because our plan is quite the opposite. We are looking to spend the Fall/Winters in Idaho (winter is our favorite season) and explore the rest of the country during the warmer months. Thanks for watching! - Alex
Happy Birthday and love the landscape so beautiful!
Hi Rosemary, thank you so much! - Alex
My favorite place too... beautiful life... Happy Birthday!
