I have a kawasaki 1100zxi what mid range impeller do u recommend
What if i just want top end?
best video ever on pop off
This was great! I'm still working on my wave blaster 1200 swap, don't have all the parts yet.
I clean the switch contacts on every ski i purchase just to avoid potential issues on the water. I always use a scotch Brite, but i just purchased the fiberglass scratch pen after watching your video. One of the better videos you've done IMO, thank you!

Thanks for the great video. And the fast shipping guys provide
These pumps are so unintuitive to wrap your brain around, physics-wise.
Thanks for watching
Hi John , great video ! i like the TBM pump stuffer so i can use a big hub prop ( TBN cone for top end , use the longest ) , best nozzle dims is 80/83 . prop size , on 650 run a 13/18 or 15,5 depending on rec/race/surf ride , on 750 would go no less than 14/19 or 14/20 ( my opinion ) Best regards from Belgium ! Jack
Hello Jack, as always we appreciate you watching!
Thx, love your videos! My JetSki mechanic wants $140/hour. Either your shop sign is old or the hourly price for quality work is regional. 🤔
Great video John! Just as I was thinking about the stubby cone.
Thanks for watching!!
You never added the pictures at the end!
Thanks for watching. Sorry what pictures were we supposed to add?

Hi John, how could I get my hands on a pair of 1" Jetline ride plate fins. I would die for a pair. Please let me know if you have a set in stock👍👍👍
Sorry, they are now all sold out, and no longer available....
Do you know where I can find something similar somewhere????
Do you have a website?
Great video - glad I found this - really appreciate your submission on the X too
Thanks for watching!
What class does this race in ? Rec lite ?
Awesome video John. In Greece we have two options of pump fuel, gasoline 95 octane and 100 octane. However, most gas stations have bad quality of fuel due to additives that enhance fuel volume... for obvious reasons. Modern Jet Skis, ie four-strokes suffer from fuel pump, and injector issues.
Thanks for watching
Thanks for supporting the sortie
The backtracking when you mentioned the two props cracks me up every time.
Thanks for watching
Thank you for sharing, is an accurate tach like a pet-2000 a good tool for rich/lean detection, do you use something like this?
Yes, the PET Tach's are very good.
@@watercrafttalk2738 thank you for the quick reply, could you do a video on tuning a Yamaha triple carb setup, would laser temp gun help find a lean cylinder, if hotter then richen that carb?
@@jasons4745 Thanks for the suggestion. Not sure, as we really are not working on many triples anymore, but if one comes into the shop we could maybe do a video.
@@jasons4745 Check out or video on piston wash.
Can you do a video on what you like to do for winterizing/storage?
Just rebuilt some 15 year old carbs last week that have never been opened and it's always has 10% ethanol fuel. All the rubber was still soft.
Chris, gotta learn how to cut your video clips.
Sorry, we are not professionals.
JS440- I want to add straight bars and a quick steer. Short or long plate? Is there benefits or drawbacks of one versus the other?
It's all a preference.
Can you run handlebars with the cross pad on the short plate?
@@BuckleyBuilt Yes you can
C'mon, should be running race fuel
Am always putting few gallons in my truck to. Jetski. Three wheeler. Skidoo. Etc
Good honest video of real world expectations. I have the same ski with a stage 2. Im at 1400 feet of elevation and 85+ air temp warm lake water. I run 84 mph and an occasional 85 when things cool down. The GP is a great platform to modify.
You should prove your theory...Just soak some parts in both types of fuel for a measured amount of time.
Pleny of videos on how to remove the ethanol from your fuel before you put it in your tank
Here in Australia we just got socced with massive yearly licences & registration fee charges. It's costing us around $1000.oo a year just to own a jetski & trailer to keep it on the water. 🇦🇺😮💨
There is no such thing as ethanol free gas in most cities in Canada now, sad but true. Even the premium fuels have it.
Yes good videos over here no BS
2 of the Walmarts in my town have 93 non-e gas. That’s all I put in my 750sxi and yz125, 25:1 maxima 927.
Very informative
Which grips are these?
ODI
@watercrafttalk2738 Do you know which model? I don't remember a purple grip in their PWC catalog. Thanks, and keep up the great content!
@@musgravecycles Cross trainer, which look to be discontinued. I can get Ruffians and vans in purple. Reach to me at the shop if you want some
Jack Hollmann Great video . guess the next video will be about compression and high oct fuel ? lol.............many thanks for all the great video's !!! hello from Belgium
Thanks John
Lake Geneva WI Quick Trip near Culver’s has 87 non-ethanol fuel.
1) Don't have open containers of gas in a garage Especially with the door down. 2) Put paper towels down where you plan on spilling the gas ( dispose of by spreading outside immediately ). 7-P Principle. ☆
This needs to be shared all over the groups. This little golden nugget of info can save people so much money. Thanks again for a spot on and important video mixed in with an out take 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching
Very informative video John Thanks for putting this together and sharing.
Thank you for watching
i got a superjet this year and i feed her the ethanol free
Rebuilt my carburetors twice and couldn’t figure out what was the problem also ski would run until under load it turned out to be the return line was clogged
Really enjoyed this episode and your tip about dropping a couple gallons into the truck before the jet ski tank, solid tip. So why is it that the watercraft industry hasn’t shifted to parts that are certified for ethanol blends. Seems like that is at least the normal in the US. Is it simply a cost thing, hp thing or something else. If the automotive industry did it, you’d think watercraft could too, but I’m no expert on the subject. Thanks for the great video!
Thanks for watching!! Honestly all of the new watercraft WOULD be ok for up to 10% ethanol. It is just the older skis. It is the same with old cars, lawn mowers etc. I still do NOT recommend ethanol fuel in a typical marine environment though as it can and will actualyl absorb water, and we are surrounded by water....
Would the switch prevent a spark? And still allow it to turnover ?
It can, yes
I had 2 of those in perfect condition i bought from craigslist for $2K for both! I should have never sold them...
They are cool, rare skis
can't thank you enough for taking on my ski
love these videos
Thank you for watching!
What a nice job…great attention to detail.
Thank you.
