Are the European 5W40 series oils not good enough? I'm trying to compare Signature Series 0W40 to the European 5W40 and 0W40 oils. Hard to find any significant comparisons/differences without doing the Blackstone thing.
@@reubenmorris487 please dont take my words as an answer but from my good experience, i have been using signature series for longer than i can count and i have never have any failure in any of my cars " Genesis coupe 3.8 & Focus ST & hyundai Elentra & Mazda 6 2.5L & and Escalade the newer engine & BMW 650i N63TU" but its a bit complicated for BMW because you need to have something that its BMW "APPROVAL" which i dont trust for mainly two thing i have understand from some search and reading what is BMW is looking for them engine is to be low in SAPS "to be healthy for the CATTS and the second thing is high mileage type of oil so LL01 and LL01 FE specially the FE is in my opinion is a disaster because these cars comes with Catts that are like Deasil cars cats for emissions and they want the catts to stay clean. sorry to be that long but even Amsoil when you send them a question they will reply with please use our European oil for your car. but what i will do if i where you and this is what i have done to my car that i bough high flow catts to eliminate the need to put bad quality oil, and am using 0w40 because this is the best from Signature for my bearing clearance and temperature, if they will make new 5w40 signature i will go for it. for your car check what the thickness of the oil should be first

Changed the fluid in my 2019 CR-V at 20K with Amsoil and again at 30k. What a difference it made in the performance of that CVT. Night and day.

There are only a few companies who make PAO oil, EXXON/MOBILL - CHEVRON/PHILIPS - SHELL who makes Pennzoil and Quacker State. AMSOIL most likely buys their oil from one of them depending on who give the best price then blends the oil themselfs the same as WAREN DIST. By looking at the Blackstone charts the additive formula is basicly the same in all motor oils on the market.

Amsoil is not "100% synthetic" as claimed. They get their base oil from a bulk dealer which is dino oil from the ground. Amsoil then adds its own proprietary additive package. That's all. I'm sure it's a great oil. But it is not "100% synthetic".

Im having a problem with this oil its turning a dark brown with purple tint to it and it does this within 1100 miles after changing it. Ive used this oil 2 different oil changes and it does it on both of them i use your filters too. I never had this problem with the boosted oil which i ran in my 18 renegade for 2 and half years i always go 5000 miles on changes. The vehicle has 62000 miles on it just wondering if youll have any ideas
I doubt the veracity of any and all videos about the superiority of any oil comparisons! I actually think if you use the recommended viscosity and change your oil and filter every 3000 miles, you will be a winner! Then buy the cheapest oil you can find. Save your money folks! As long as your engine has fresh oil, thats all it needs to run efficiently. All oils get dirty and toxic and the additives wear out. Fresh oil is what is important, not the hype about our oil is better than their oil. Wise up.

@@darrylsjodin7184this is a good reminder. A tribologist known as the oil geek did reply to me that oil by Toyota oil had more molybdenum than Penn Ultra and Mobil1.... I took that to be his polite way of reminding me that things are not entirely as they may seem.
I only use a amsoil and no other. Amsoil sold me when I rebuilt my Subaru wrx/sti engine after using only Amsoil. The pistons and valves were clean. I’m sure changing my oil every 5,000 miles help significantly.
