I really wish that snake eyes would have been made in his jet black colour because the grey doesn’t suit him at all not buying any more of him and I would have bought tones of he was jet black and his visor is not that detailed. So I hope they do better with the tiger force version because I want that one. And all the rest and the BATs are awesome just one thing they need the proper o rings they all have tiny o rings that cause the figures not to sit right on the waist part. So I had to change out 20 figures for the O-rings and put the right size O-ring in that’s a real issue and another thing that they do have to change. They made the feet and the legs a little bit too small you need a little bit more beef to the thighs, then it’ll be better proportion once they fix it otherwise love the fact that we have a G.I. Joe O-ring line once again take your you’ll see the O-ring is super tiny and size

Like the redesign of Chameleon. But I will say that the IDW books actually spent a lot of time on that character.

Snake eyes visor not detailed as good as the reaction line or the vintage. So it is just a dull plain figure. Without the detailed head for the visor and the jet black colour snake eyes is ruined for me. Snake eyes was jet black because he was a commando and then a ninja so please tell brain so he can make the right adjustments if he wants this line to do super awesome. Still looking forward to the next wave and will be buying more Cobra bats and any future army builders 50 figures will end up costing in Canada $25 a figure because of extra taxes and duties so $1250 and other army builders I will be buying will be around $500 for 20 so that’s $25 a figure. So it is very do able for me to army build at those prices. So crimson guards 50 cobra soldiers 50 Cobra officers 20 Cobra vipers 50 Viper pilots 20 By pilot officers 20 Or I might increase both army build a hell out of this line.

Snake eyes doesn’t look right. He needs to be jet black to be comic accurate and when you compare him with any vintage snake eyes the off grey looks horrible. Please tell Brain to fix that in another run of the action figure and the o ring size is wrong they used tiny o rings so you have to change out all your o rings on the figures.

My biggest complaint and you need to tell Brain the o rings are way too small and Snake Eyes needs to be Jet black and lose the blue boots. The other paint applications are good but the visor is not detailed enough. So tell Brian he needs to fix that fix the head sculpt for when they make the tiger force version of Snake Eyes. That’s the only complaint other wise I am really loving the BATS and the Coba Commander is awesome cause the hooded Cobra commanders head fits on great. You can’t wait because BATS sells out. I don’t mind the side to side head movement because they didn’t make the ball joint heads. So the figures are more like the 82 to 84 head sculpts. And cover girls head fits on a cobra officers body

The Ultimates line may be more expensive but really it's kinda the only way most people will get a chance at the more obscure characters like Red Laser. Hasbro won't ever give us a single pack of Glenda or Quarrel (or Baroness) or even Action Force figures so it's really the only option.

All I've ever wanted was cartoon GIJOE characters, and giving to Super 7 has proven to be such a mistake. Brian has stated he won't be doing a lot of characters in O-ring since they had a figure in the past, and their Ultimates are overpriced and not selling well. I am 48 now so I've given up on getting back into GIJOE as I don't care for Classified designs outside of some of the retro stuff. Stinks as I doubt any company will ever attempt Sunbow Joes again.

Really enjoy the podcast! Has the design team ever said how they would handle characters & their animal companions for the retro card releases? Retro card inspired boxes? Companions with no articulation like in vintage? Or will they not release these characters and pets in any kind of retro style? Just curious if you have ever heard anything.

I enjoy these dives into the code words (sorry Pat). While I'm excited for the 2025 listings, the closer the main Classified line gets to reproducing the original figures, the less I'm interested (I'm in the minority, I know). Lastly, I hate to disagree, but the Ferret was not easy to get (and no longer available on BBTS). Not complaining, because it happens, but would like to see another release (maybe without a driver).

Well I did order lots of bars and 2 of each but I don’t know why they didn’t stick to the prototype face. It looks like his heads are caved in. So I will only order one to check it out. But going to order tones and tones of BATS cause the outlined face kinda looks like it’s sunk in. It might be ok or it might look horrible we will see once we get them

$40 is a lot, and yes the renders look different in the face then the photographs which look off. The price is expected though and I preordered anyway.

Production desighnes in Dan Klingensmiths last book had a cool Yellow Jacket Helicopter for Cobra that was awesome.. I would love Hasbro to revisit this

The backpacks always look weird/ too small on most figures. I usually just use different weapons and hardly use the weapons/accessories ( always looks weird/soft feeling). The jet packs don’t fit the Stalker buck/ Duke Retro buck .

The event itself you might get a decent Wi-Fi which is not I believe in the Javits center. But if you are trying to live stream in the Javits Center probably not going to happen Javits Center Wi-Fi sucks big time!! since I work as a vendor when I first get in there and the place is like virtually empty Wi-Fi is perfect as soon as it starts to get crowded good luck Wi-Fi is non-existent..... especially if you go downstairs in the cafeteria
