No one that has lived here most of their lives ever called dust storms that stupid pro-Arab word HABOOB. And there are 3 kinds of schools. Low level charter schools for the kids that get kicked out of public school. Public schools which are now low level... and high end charter schools where the smart kids (that used to be in public schools) from good homes go to actually learn something other than the woke crap they are teaching now in the public schools. So there is only one real school system. See Basis, Legacy, etc.

I moved from Texas and never lived anywhere else. Wood does not work here anywhere! It’s too hot, wood fences dry out quickly and replacing them every two or three years is very expensive.

Native here...What you didn't mention is the massive influx of BLUE residents trying to escape blue policies ruining everything that made AZ. such a great place to live!!!!!!

The valley changed. Been here 13 years. Traffic is worse, cost of everything (despite inflation) is up drastically. The only positive change is home values if you own a home which sadly values here are built on matchbox sticks with an ability to crumble at any moment. There has been 0 other positive changes in that time.

Good vid --- anyone worried about scorpions --- my advice is to spray yourself. You can do a better job most likely then the best control companies. --- go to Bug and Weed Mart and they can sell you what you need or go on youtube/amazon to see how to do it. You want to get a really good 6 foot barrier from the block wall and 3 feet up the block wall --- same thing with your house --- 6 foot barrier from it and then 3 feet out. pest companies will likely just spray the bottom of the wall and bottom of the house --- not quite enough to kill the scorp potentially. Also, a lot of pest companies will dilute the pesticide --- mix it yourself and you'll know you got the right strength to kill the scorps and keep your family safe. If you spray for weeds its the same thing --- super easy --- I sprayed my neighbors for free and he has found 3-4 dead scorpions outside the past few weeks -- it works 🙂

We've been here since 2008. And the only thing we've learned is that the HOA controls everything They take your money and tell you how to live. It's not worth having an HOA They suck.

I have lived here for nearly 30 years, coming from Colorado. One of the things I never hear mentioned is valley fever. I have had it and it wasn’t pleasant at all! I had never heard of it until I moved here.

Blossom Rock is 41 miles away from Phoenix, how far out do you consider the phoenix area? Hwy 60 an easy way to phoenix? Easy commute? I live in Gilbert and hwy 60 is a congested, and often turns into a parking lot during rush hour. Your smooth drive hwy 24 to 202 to Phoenix is 45 miles. Entertainment, schools, restaurants, major shopping is someplace else. The school is one and 1/2 years away .San Tan Market place-entertainment, major shopping, restaurants in Gilbert is 13 miles away

Queen Creek should have made the developers build more communities that are livestock friendly (acreage) instead the developers are squeezing those that enjoy that sort of lifestyle out. QC/San Tan Valley is a bedroom community so expect to drive for your job & leave at least an hour before you need to be at your destination, longer if you work in Tempe/Phx area. QC should have also made the developers pay a tax to have the roads widen earlier, instead the developers on put in a right turn lane into their subdivision. Been out here since 1995

I moved to Scottsdale from Portland Oregon 2 years ago, and there is no looking back! The sunshine in AZ is soooooo healing, and the heat feels goooood!

I moved from New Jersey 15 years ago, will never go back. Living here in Mesa and lovign the cheap property tax. Arizona is such an easy place to live. Ive lived in New York, Florida, NJ, and Los Angeles,,, by far Phoenix area is the best... Also, the roads here are great and the city layout works for two reasons,,, 1) Its a newer city so they built it learning the mistakes of other cities 2) no water ways or swamp land prohibiting the building of roads.

My parents live in Arizona but I've never been there I have a strong fear of tornadoes and I live in Iowa where we get those on a regular basis I can deal with heat I can no longer deal with this fear
