I bought a TORO TimeCutter 42" deck for $500.00 at my local Tractor Supply. Will It Run?
I really did buy a new Zero Turn Lawnmower for $500.00 at my local Tractor Supply. It's been said that timing is everything. In this case, it is the absolute truth. Recently, I went over to my local Tractor Supply to buy some super glue to repair some cracks in my, new to me, pickup truck. after checking out, as I was leaving, I noticed there was a TORO TimeCutter 42 sitting right near the entrance. It appeared to have been returned. I didn't notice it when I arrived at the store earlier. There was an employee standing nearby by, so I inquired about it.
She stated she didn't really know and contacted the manager. The manager stated that it couldn't move and that they couldn't determine what was wrong with it. So, I asked, "Is it for sale?" She answered, "Yes, it is. $500.00, No Return sale." Dumbfounded, I immediately said, "I'll buy it!"

TR6 restoration update: Where the heck have I been!?
Переглядів 624 роки тому
It's been a couple of months since I last posted anything. I've had some changes go on outside my control. Family stuff. I'm now taking care of my ninety-year-old mom. She suffers from dementia and has to have someone taking care of her. That fell to me when my brother discovered he had an illness and can no longer take care of her himself. It was about mid-july that I had to stop working on th...

1974 TR6 A Restoration Project Part 3: Installing the Hood (Bonnet) Latch

This is the sad story of how and why it took me so long to get this video out. Many years ago... Just kidding. This was actually the first video I created for this project. Through a comedy of errors I just made mistake after mistake recording the video. I ended up just voicing over the video rather than trying to recreate what I did. I've been rather busy lately so I haven't had a chance to fi...
1974 TR6 A Restoration Project: Part 2 Polishing the Front Spoiler with Gear-lube
Переглядів 1464 роки тому
In this video I demonstrate how using gear-lube can greatly improve the appearance of black plastic parts. You can do this for on your TR6 or any other vehicle that has worn down black plastic parts. I learned this trick from viewing an Elin Yakov's Rusty Beautys video on the subject. Here's a link to his page. ua-cam.com/channels/8MBWMaGHLbGwDrrzbddevA.htmlvideos

thats a twin cylynder engine ive worked on these for years and i can tell by hearing it that its only running on one cylender check for spark on both cylenders
@alleycat.propertymaintenan3821 I'll do that, thanks I'll let you know what I find out. I watched another video about that same issue. Usually ends up being a coil.
@@mikehoroho8453 no problem
@alleycat.propertymaintenan3821 Good catch, I checked the cylinders, you're correct. The right side cylinder is not firing. I pulled the plug wires off one at a time, the right one didn't change anything. But when I pulled the left one, it wouldn't start. Next, I'll swap the coils and see if that makes a difference. I'll let you know what I find out.
Good ear!👍🏾
Nice! You are a one lucky man
@diyek1781 Thank you. I really needed a new mower too. I'm very grateful.
