After hearing of the horrific and senseless crime, inflicted on this young girl, I was wishing we had the death penalty here in Ireland. I don't want to type messages, where I want people to die, but this was evil at it's most profound. May Aishling rest in peace.

The way she looks and smiles with her sister as they play their music together, you can tell they were very close sisters. I honestly couldn't imagine how heartbroken Amy and the rest of her family have been since they lost their beloved Ashling. May she rest in peace.

I was lucky enough to stay in Tullamore some years ago on a visit with some of the Condron family. Very sad to hear of the loss of this young woman, my condolences to her friends and family. 🙏

Oghhhh my god , what a loss.

Just watched an excerpt from this year’s Tullamore Tradfest on R.T.E TV and it was unbelievable. Over 150 friends and family of Aisling coming together to honour her with the most fantastic Irish Music, and they featured her own composition ‘Aisling’s Reel. The tears came flowing back. Absolutely beautiful.

Absolutely horrendous what happened to such a beautiful, talented young woman who had so much passion for Irish music as seen here. When Ashling was killed, it felt like the whole country knew her through all the vigils that were held. An amazing young lady, thoughts and prayers go to her family. RIP Ashling Murphy.

Ashling's family have recently set up a trust fund in her memory, 'The Ashling Murphy Memorial Trust'. As part of this year's festival (April 8th - 10th 2022) we are fundraising for this trust fund, hosting a concert in her memory which will be live streamed here on our UA-cam account.
