I accidentally clicked on this hello
Also, for getting into that little bird -- that one is FAR more troublesome. Because they also glue the covers in place -- so even once you pry off the caps, the screw heads are covered with glue. Little birdie is in the category of "don't try it -- too frustrating".
I'm the AT professional who asked Ron to adapt the window vacuum. The special education teacher asked if I had ideas to make some of the jobs more accessible. This is a high school student who has complex needs (cognitive and physical). . I have sent them an adapted spray bottle to spray water. It is an IEP goal. The student is 20 years old.
Hello can i get the slides?
I like how she talked about her lessons about her first team {I think it was 2008} to now, I think it was true. To someone that want to be a coach, it help me what kind of coach that I need to be. I don't like that we in special education use the word "IEP team" because no one pick to be a part of this team. We need to spell out who is going to do this, when it needs to be done, what are things to get to the goal, when would they like me to follow up, and what do they need to do before our next coaching counsel. Chapter two thoughts. People who have a disability need to get in a leadership role.
Do you know if they have a website for this terrific program? When I searched on Google I got nothing. I love this tool for students who use a communication device because they read one sentence then the program read and they could rewrite the sentence.
Hello, is Rebecca Rosenberg an American?
Looking forward to seeing you there!
There is nothing great about New Jersey
I viewed parts of the web inar and I'm not sure this is helpful. I received overpayments on the SSI portion due to having resources over 2k in my account. The reason for my SSI being suspended is I had an amount over 10k in an account that SSA discovered. These funds were deposited by myself because I'm trying to andcrequired by my Transplant centers require that I have funds put away in order to be considered for a kidneyvtransplant. I'm disabled due to being end-stage renal and I do dialysis in search of a Transplant. I have a care supporter that I mentioned in my appeal has been setting monies aside for future costs post-transplant. I made the mistake of depoiting the funds into an existing account to be safely kept. As a result, I was being overpaid from 4/2022 thry 6/2023. I now owe 13k in overpayment. So my question is what do I do while I wait for the results of the SSA form 561 u2 appeal? Meanwhile, I stressed that I was appealing during the 10 day period but once I spoke briefly with agent who called after 8 years informing me of a reconsideration. My payments were automatically suspended and reduced to zero. This confuses me because I submitted appeal within 10 days of the notice and imare not receiving benefits during the appeals process. I welcome any advice and I'm seeking counsel if needed. Thank you for your time.
Unfortunately, I suffer from severe chronic post-traumatic stress disorder, Thoracic spine scoliosis, and lumbar spine disorder which has caused since the spinal surgery a severe and chronic ongoing degenerative disc disorder. I do receive SSI and a small payment of SSDI.
I understand that you don't generally answer questions pertaining to the specifics of a person's case.
😮😮
Link to slides in description has a typo.
Fixed thanks
How can I make a pizza oven
Thank you
Love the term "drive by" evaluation. Outside evaluators could never have the depth of knowledge about a student that the on-site IEP team has about that child. The consultative in-house model has always been my preference. However, the downside of that model is ensuring that in-house team members are always well trained in a wide array of devices, supports and learning needs, especially when it comes to students with complex needs. There's no perfect model for every scenario.

We'd definitely be interested in a discussion on DJ/TH merger.
Why aren’t any questions answered?
Probably because they don't have the answers
What if a Ssdi recipient wins a lawsuit and receives a substantial amount of money?
What if I have a past debt that I never filled for reconsideration? I knew for years some money was being withheld. I recently inquired about past debt and the SSA rep didn’t know why I had that debt. Please give opinion or get in touch with me so to consult. Thank you
My SSDI is being reduced. In addition, Social Security says I owe them what for me is large sum of money, which I couldn't begin to pay due to the reduction! How do I effeçtively appeal?
Maybe just pay what you owe? Difficult concept?

Great discussion about re-invention in the light of how service delivery has changed and has stayed the same - along with new and familiar issues and barriers.
Thank you so much for this information!!!!
There's no presentation here - very disappointing. It's just an hour of the presenters prepping for the presenation.
How does the SSA handle taxes already paid to a law firm when the beneficiary is awarded or when taxes are already paid on the overpayment.
Great resources in this town hall. any chance you can throw some of them in the comments?
Thanks for continuing to post these town hall meetups!
Thanks for sharing the recording!
Can't wait! (best part of the video - the crickets! Love how you choreographed that moment!)
Just before any extreme event this type of discussion happens. Then it's bankruptcy, war &/or mega-death. Walk softly & watch your back.
Cheers for the Video! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Millawdon Future Ticket Trick (search on google)? It is a good exclusive product for teaching children to read minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend Sam after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.
Wonderful conference. Great guidance! Thanks.
