Is it a real thing for guys getting butterfly tats or did brother lose a bet?
Didnt Bryce Pindonian get pinned like 400 times in hus career...yea real good my arse
1:53 Someone didn't pass spelling class... Yikes!
Espn is a trash network. Deserves much better
That was a pin, he was setting him up for it. He had him sliding off the top while working his right arm behind the knee and started working a half with his left. It was not a defensive pin.
One thousand One - One thousand Slap? Ever since Ian Millers match I think Cornell is corrupt.
1:48 I now can see clearly that bending the fingers to bring the wrist back is a legal wrestling move, I did not know that.
Ref must’ve been in a hurry to be somewhere… come on now LET THEM WRESTLE
yall saying thats not a pin clearly dont watch college wrestling enough or at all
that was such a pun, Bryce was flat
Crap match for Travis. Finally tried in the 3rd period. Too late.
Wasn’t beat Haines on his best day
Shapiro was like a twist tie on a loaf of bread. No matter which way you untwist it, it's always wrong and won't open up. I hope he got kissed for that... 1:55. And at 2:54 Shapiro was carrying him like a wounded soldier. They both gave a performance not to be missed.
Man I’m gonna miss watching andonian
That was a bullshit pin.
Shapiro just Andonian’d Andonian!
Bryce reminds me of that JV kid who got beat all the time and never got better, 12th grade still JV still getting pinned! I don't see what all the hype is about?
Who the f ck are u to say that, in 22 he was a point away from finals at 149 and last yr he had Haines pinned and this yr ot in semis. If he wrestled more conservative he would do better but not as exciting
@@stevekwan8232yes, for a national champ, he wrestled the most conservative match of the year against Andonian who in this keyboard warriors term is a jv guy
jv wrestlers don't become 3x all americans
Haines and PSU guys don't get pinned 3xs in a tourney by doing JV style roll around
Score should’ve been 8-0 before Bryce’s reversal but okay..
Those are some tired looking dudes.
No way that was a pin though
100% a pin
@@combatspeed6392 not close
@@PolishPony57 college pins are for the most part one second when control has been established andonian was stuck
@@adezii1397 if that were so, then, why aren't 98% of "1 second pins" called? They are called 'near falls' for a reason. Your assertion is gratuitous at best. We all have opinions, however, your opinion about "college pins" does not achieve the 'educated posture' that you attempted to promote. Perhaps a more careful/humble approach to other former wrestlers would gain your 'opinions' some credibility?
@@PolishPony57 your whole paragraph looks ai generated and still shows you know nothing about wrestling a wrestler gets near fall points when their shoulder go past 45 if both of their shoulder blades are pressing the mat for a second or more and the offensive wrestler has established control or the wrestler on their back and not just a scramble a pin is nearly always called. Go watch some college wrestling youll see. Hs wrestling is clearly a different story
Shapiro should have had 4 near fall out of the box, not 2. Very brick-worthy.
In the end it didn’t matter
Most exciting wrestler for sure
fuck meyer shapiro he destroyed andonians season with the injury he gave him
You want to know what's sad about the NCAA Wrestling tournament year after year? They only have 8 mats that they use for wrestling in this tournament and ESPN couldn't get 8 crews to call the individual matches in 1st thru QF's yet they send way more teams than what would have been needed for this tournament to college football and basketball post season competition. Also, their sad excuse for coverage since they went to commercials during many of the early matches that were televised during the match.
ESPN has no business broadcasting this great tournament. Their coverage is absolutely horrible. I got espn+ so I could watch individual matches, and they provided no commentary with that service just video. Pretty weak.
That was a quick pin, think the ref was trying to make up for missing the pin call in the first period lol. But you gotta love Bryce Andonian, he always entertains and has big moves he is willing to go for every match.
Its really wasnt that quick. Both of Andonians shoulders were down and directly in front of the ref. Not a make up call at all.
Def seemed like a lot of pin moments happening but man that was a wild match! Much respect to both superior athletes!
