Classics updated! Any song that I like, and I think has that "old" flat sound; those songs mixed with mid to late 80's equipment (used well into the 90'). I take each song, find the original I have, extract it to uncompressed wav and then "modernize it.
Mission Statement: Post and promoted hard grooving music to keep you pumped through your day.
I've mastered/mixed tracks albums before so it's not a difficult task. The problem is I'm working with ONE flat mixed track not 36 individual tracks I could fix and then do a REAL remaster, so I call it modernizing. Usually volume adjustment, minor EQ where need then audio compression. Finally, I encode to near lossless giving the best outcome.
Some come out great, some come out good, but they all come out better.
TL;DR - I make try to make older tracks sound better.

This was released in 2003 on the CD "Skin" Great blend of guitars, electronic and industrial. Cyber Axis doesn't get recognition they deserve.

Released in 1996. Cyber Axis was a good band, very over looked!
Swamp Terrorists - Right Here

From the 1994 "Combat Shock" This sample heavy industrial was a huge influence on me, personally. Way back in time, you could only find music like this in the Metropolis catalog. You just had to buy discs based on the one or two sentence description. I remember buying it without ever hearing it based on the glowing write-up. I updated the sound on this track. Nothing Swamp Terrorists put out wa...

The stutters halfway through the song are PERFECTION.
I agree, great use of silence.
The Stalker mercenary radio by Zone operator brought me to this great cover! Nice:) happy hunting, stalker!
Awesome
I think the reason the original was upbeat was because the song had a great deal of affection behind it. It was less about violence in itself, and more about starting a conversation. It's healthy to discuss things like this, but it's heavily stigmatized. This version of the song is unambiguously dark, and it really feels like the thing that would ring in the mind of somebody about to lose it. And artistically I think it absolutely kicks ass. They're both incredibly different, and I think that makes them both incredibly special. I would argue this is a sort of reversal of what happened with the Nine Inch Nails song, "Hurt", where the intent and meaning of the song was altered considerably when covered, only the softer song is rendered darker and more sinister instead of the other way around.
Nostalgic
Nice pfp ;)
Classic
❤❤❤❤
This feels so nostalgic coming back after 5 years 😂
Never heard this mix before, great song, awesome in this version too!
Very reminiscent of NIN's Head Like A Hole.
Great groove.
Yeah I remember deciphering magazine reviews was an art form. A good compilation was valuable or just checking out Ministry and Pigface contributors.
That's a good point, I found a lot of new music based on who they worked with and compilations. I got this one in '94, and it was a great road map. www.discogs.com/release/292825-Various-The-Digital-Space-Between?srsltid=AfmBOook8NauSK_xj_1Jpcg9FM2qrxe5DLYSXWBwtZX7ZdeYjPItuL-l
& yes this and NiHIL are the only covers brute! Hasn't done for KMFDM
What was this released on???
Advanced Electronics Vol. 8 from 2010
Amazing underrated album and band. Up there with Malhavok, Front 242, the greats. Good to hear it again!
I also posted this classic cover ua-cam.com/video/JdLGYNO_BUM/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared They get overlooked far too much.
@@krushedopiates WOAH I never heard this! Thanks
someone said this was a head like a hole remix: ua-cam.com/video/zSY1h1w72X8/v-deo.htmlsi=LDbFMn00VTIDvJGM
I domt think ive heard this version before. Ty
So this is pretty much a demo for Heresy? Cool.
Since you said that, that's all hear now
I honestly am delighted at this version, I really like that song but it's not one of my choices stylistically. I really dig it this way.
I couldn't agree more.
I have Rusty Nails I & II on CD. Bought them in the 90s. Loved it!!!
You've got a great selection of electronic and industrial on your channel. Discovered some new favorites.
This absolutely fucking slaps
this album had some wild ass match ups. SLAYER X ATARI TEENAGE RIOT for example. Just a stormer. Soul Coughing X Roni Size was another killer team up. metallica and dj spooky was another one i think. it was less inspired imo.
Anyone got the lyrics?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Luvafair nightclub 199? (before internet) Van BC Can ..strobes, lasers and fog machine made hearing this for the first time extremely memorable. Prop to DJ David Hawks. Sent me to the Funk and Wagnals dictionary for the definition of Immolation. Nasty stuff.
This is a cover. Slime. Check 'em out.
Thanks for the info

It really never gets old.
It does sound a little grainy but is awesome nonetheless
I only took (a click or pop out of this one:) I have a copy of Control (Fight the Power Mix) -- it's good but in rough shape. going to try and fix it tomorrow
Fucking awesome thank you for another unreleased version of a forever classic! Seeing KMFDM in 2 weeks!
I think I can get more out of my collection ... it's in much worse shape, but I'll give it a go
Enjoy the show. I saw them in Charlotte.
@@krushedopiatesthat be awesome. I litterity just dug out my shirt from the 2000 tour show to wear to show Ina few days I'll have some footage up. But yeah that'd be awesome. Bekuz witch hunt always had so much potential but just didn't execute right. Which is obviously a personal opinion but seeing how many times it was re worked I can understand but the version you uploaded should have been the official single. But yeah that'd be beyond awesome whenever you do get the time try an dig thru ur KMFDM stuff Im subbed 2 u so eventually when you do get around 2 it I'll hear it but untill then. Thank You for reviving such a great lost track.
Love your username by the way I am one year and 5 months over from opioids which I still don't even know how LOL but it is possible
10 years clean, it's hard as hell. Congrats on your sobriety!
Thank you so much for uploading this HQ. don't know this wasn't the original but.... subscribed!! You would really appreciate one back as I release a lot of kmfdm material as well as run the official subreddit with PIG
hate Zombie. loved white zombie for the amazing moments they had and ignore any trash. first korn album has it place in the pantheon so...i do dig a retro revisit every decade. didnt know davis was doing electronics so thats news. im saying this to you because you have (subjective of course since we love artists others have missed out on) incredible taste in electronic music and you know the history of the scene and bands. you also seem to know a good deal about the production and shit. so this would have blown my mind in 1998. well i guess since dub step was not a thing yet we can replace those synths with something more 'acidy' or like what Chem Bros, Crystal Method and Future Sound of London were doing. Shit that would fit that time period. and even though you can tell in this remix that davis is rather new at the production/writing of electronic music. him , like 80% of people i have met really think its just putzing around on a laptop. And when those people are actually right? you get this remix. haha. parts are ok. ideas are there. execution was poor and seemed rushed. aside from a few artists i kinda hate dub step so those parts i didnt dig. but was a cool listening experience. i LOVE remixes of metal bands from that era. some are AWFUL. while others fucking blew me away. and still do. ok sorry for the long ass message hah. if you are on IG hit me with your handle or something. i can talk music all day and the fact you love Swamp Terrorists means we have 48 hours minimum to chate about haha. Keep up the great work on the channel. And PLEASE tag me in shit you think i would love. i hit like on everything you do and i "SMASHED" that subscribe button. Take it easy man and thanks for taking the time to do all this shit. PS. God Tier Username.
Wish they had done another MDFMK album. At least we got this one and Missing Time from Heavy Metal 2000
I couldn't agree more - this line-up was one of the best! Would love a new MDFMK release!
@krushedopiates and the group was simple yet awesome. Lucia and Tim Skold and Sascha
I just stumbled on to three different versions and an unreleased song. Some need work, a bunch of work! :-) EQ, noise reduction and mastering. I think 3 are completely salvable, will post in the next day or so.
@@krushedopiates i look forward to hearing them
I read that Graham was gonna collab/remix with Marc on Cubanate songs during the Search Engine era. At that point, K-Nitrate was still Graham's main focus, so I wonder if this was one of those songs? G. C. = Graham and Christian (the two members of K-Nitrate)?
Sound plausible. Thank you for the info
@@krushedopiates Just odd speculation on my end...which means your choice for the Antimatter artwork actually fits !
This is a ripper. Just downloaded, liked, shared, and shot it out to about 10K students in our music dept.

Glad you liked it. You're comment just showed up.

Pretty good. Wish I would have heard of this record earlier.
A little noisy and unfocused, but pretty interesting nonetheless. I have never heard of this Jonathan Davis person. Does it Make Me Bad?
Jonathan Davis is the leader singer of Korn. I have updated the title to reflect that.

Cool, thanks. Wasn't aware of that.

One of my favorite Fluke tracks, this never fails to make me wanna move.
Same, I'm a huge Fluke fan. Check out the 2 Bit Fly songs in my playlist. Its a side project of Fluke but quite different.
