When I saw the cover for this game before it came out. I honestly thought Chris would be infected somehow and this would be his boss theme.
This entire game is superbly underrated. Just fantastic
No athas had great overall story which had working ending only thing which SL added it gave sylvanas, uther and jaina a chance to feel him one more time and get over him. Not all stories need a happy ending and some are better with tragic ones.
I disagree, each and every living creature deserves a chance at redemption. Look at Sylvanas, she virtually single handedly destroyed all of night elves. Her deeds were just as bad but she will get a chance. He should too
@@branxor there is a difference there... Motives doing evil for evils sake is worse than doing evil for a greater good. Sylvanas novel made a major point about how first ones have dictated events how most will go and then arbiter without any empathy or remorse throws souls were ever never to see again their deceased loved ones sylvanas believed jailers motives was to brake that cycle for More just Life and after Life. Arthas was never mind controlled ner'zhul let arthases Bad side to remain in control of himself and that became the lich king and took over from ner'zhul and broke free of jailers control. Arthas killed high elves because he followed ner'zhuls plan, killed his father out of his own free will, slaughtered dalaran, helped summon archimonde, then planned to kill everyone on azeroth and Make them his slaves just Because that was what arthas desired. Its like saying Deathwing, cho'gall and Gul'dan all would deserve to a chance to be redeemed.
@@branxor I kind of agree with Johannessimola here. Arthas's whole story is supposed to be a tragic one, but also it serves as both a reminder to the characters within the WoW universe of what not to do, and also for players as well. Much like the story of King Arthur serves as something inspirational for everyone, Arthas's story does the opposite. Ironically the character was inspired himself from the story of King Arthur. Shadowlands already did some damage to the overall lore of the character, but not total damage. Best to stay away and leave the character untouched. It wasn't 100% his fault, but he did make his choices. Arthas is almost a perfect character to be honest. Just let it continue to be perfect. I'm glad Blizzard didn't do more crazy stuff in Shadowlands with him. Illidan on the other hand...........................very misunderstood and deserved his redemption. Not totally without fault, but very misunderstood and even when he traveled down the darkest paths, still held on to his beliefs and values, and acted for the greater good. Arthas just kind of lost it completely. Lost who he was, even before he picked up the sword. The sword was just the nail in the coffin.

I main a healer, I DONT want to play DPS. That the way I want to play the game and by your argument be IMMERSED in the experience. -- With that said, I don't like getting ganked every 5 seconds while trying to farm/quests. To be honest, Layering and Linked Servers did WAY more damage to the game than Flying.

We’ve got 2 dismount guns and a built in dismount ability on our dragon mounts. Those of us who want to WPvP still do. The real things harming World PvP the most right now are, Sharding, Chromie time, Warmode, and lack of incentives. We’ve got more incentives to Wpvp than ever before but most of the incentives suck and become useless late season. Sharding while Warmode is ON hasn’t accounted for the massive player decline, we need 30% more players per Shard in Current Content Zones, and for Legacy Content Zones effected by both Chromie Time and Warmode we need Sharding removed altogether. You’ll be lucky to find and fight 3 players while leveling from 10-60 and they won’t be your level. There are hostile players all around us but you can’t fight them due to Sharding. The game offers no incentives to do open world content after Max level so it feels emptier. Don’t get me started on the issues with every single other facet of PvP.

Bs. flying mounts are immersive too. If blizzard really cared for wpvp they would add things to demount someone mid air. There was something similiar added in pandaria where you could catch player on their flying mounts with a gun. Most wpvp was litteraly especially in wotlk in stv on the raid entrance or raiding capitals. Because 99% of the time someone wanders around the world is someone that level their char. and if you like to kill low levels 24/7 that means you are a coward a nd nothing more. I ganked ogri and stv so much that our guild is the most hated but atleast against equal opponents..

I am willing to bet that the arrival of battlegrounds which allowed players to avoid scenarios where they get swarned 1v5 is what killed world PvP but to each their own. This was exactly what killed Warmode (opt it world pvp) in BfA as well. people just grouped up for warmode quests and bullied solo players.

Flying mounts have no place in MMORPGs except in extremely limited zones/circumstances if any. Completely kills the world/world interactions, both PVE and PVP. The very antithesis of what a Massive Multiplayer world should be.

what an stupid argument. the problem is not the feature, the problem is the company. you could say the samthing 30 years ago about street fighter. Flying Fighters have no place in Fighting Games. Watch all newer Dragonball games e.g If the feature is properly thought and implemented, its hard to fail. and its not super difficult. just give flying mounts 5 spells and make air fights, if flying mount hp depleted, it goes on on the ground. but that would be lesss time in the store, so dump it :) and you people let it do with you and phantasy some weird standards to cope the situation.

A big thing is that the old world is still very much played and enjoyed as the pace is still decent and the world stiff feels alive, retail today you have no reason to ever go anywhere in the old world other than capital cities. The major issue is that an additional map to explore on top of the old world is okay but 8 zones thrown on top of it all ruines everything before it... they should instead change the zones they already have and add new quests and story

TBC classic should have had reset servers. It was doomed from the beginning because of how bad the bot crap is in classic. But before they could relaouch anything they need to hire GM's and get rid of layers!

A fresh launch would be fun. Classic TBC was really awkward moving on from Classic. Guild downsizing, collapsing hurt the community. The first phase of gearing up kinda sucked if you were T3 BIS. Only upgrades came from the raids. Having a fresh launch would be cool, build guilds from the ground up and get upgrades naturally
