Featuring the new speedrun mode, IGT should remain the same even with this mode, maybe 1 or 2 seconds faster from the intro? probably not, couple new strats got discovered in the discord, some ways to save Burst in the refights and some platform jumps over in Ark1. Sike, theres still was a lot of time to save on this route, fuckd up a lot in this run too, i bet sub 35 is coming, gonna try changes on the current route.

Guess we done with the big time saves for now, Funny enough i think Hard might be faster on some aspects, a lot of bosses burst don't seem to have additional cycles just go faster which is good for saving time, mini bosses on normal seem to take less damage from current arc also which makes things slower. I'll pick up Hard mode again when i say more people running it.

This is it, all of the splits are coming together, i follow this footprints right to this exact spot, and then, right where you're standing, i found this bag of timesaves, oh im so close to getting this Sub 38, I CAN ALMOST TASTE IT *Licks the timer*

Ran in v1.0.6 and Steam version. Huge choke in Ark 1, don't recommend this route, i made it up without checking it with the community, people on discord are already cooking way better stuff, mainly the strats for bosses, so check it out if you are interested in running this game. Omg that missle pogo on highway is bonkers! i just finished my first playthrough 4+ hours. Such a sick game, the movement is phenomenal, awesome run. Ive never been too interested in speed running myself but if i did this game would be my first.
That final boss kill was clutch, well done

I played the game and thought that I was pretty decent. I have never felt so outclassed. Good job my friend. I might try to record and put up my own times. Although I will definitely be slower because I wouldn’t be able to resist fighting enemies and rescuing civilians. But doing my best to maximize my fun out of the game would be great. And shake me out of my current set of chips and burst techniques
I was wondering, for the mine level, would speed brasher be faster? Since it breaks the blocks in one go and all? It’s pretty far in the run so squeezing in one or two saves might be worth it? Though, the levels are so fast it might not be worth it lol
In Ark 1 the last segment you’re better off running the top rather than going underneath. If you still plan on going under, you should consider getting Gravity Dash

Hey thank you, and already lowered the time, about 20 seconds, you can see the run over in speedrun.com leaderboards, didnt upload it here cause it has no audio or splits ( i messed up my OBS), but even on that run theres plenty of improvement to be made, my sum of bests is a minute faster so hopefully we close that gap soon.
@@Diarmeba3200 yeah, I came form that site, didn't realize that this vid was not your submitted run though. Still, even with that I did manage to learn a few strats myself, and maybe with some slight experimentation I might attempt a speedrun of my own. Probably will barely hit the sub-60 minute IGT, but all of this is very useful!

Every time I use function overload I get an unskippable animation that stops the game for a second, curious about how you skip that for the most part?
heey, so you gotta setup function overload as your down burst and do Down > Jump > Burst so you basically do FO right after a slide

thanks for the headsup, just fixed it, and well normal is heavily contested, its really hard to say if im performing better or if is a difference in route, looking forward to how the run is gonna develop, everyone is still breaking records even with some major movement mistakes, things are slowly getting tighter and tighter

sounds pretty hard haha, i could maybe get each level done in isolation if i practiced, but a single no hit run sounds beyond me
