Hi! We’re so glad you’re here. We have not put out an episode on packing for those kind of trips specifically. However, we always ask ourselves if we are going to have access to a washer and dryer. That really changes how we think. Plus, if we are going to be doing other activities outside, the home may change the number of clothes that we need.

Hello Ms Jen Tserng, my name is Ika. I've heard about your success stories from the online newspaper on Google. I'm a 41 years old woman. I used to have a goal to visit USA when I was still at the high school. That's why I took language subject. I've planned everything to study in a college in another city in my country Indonesia but when I graduated from high school my parents didn't support me to reach my goal. They just wanted me to stay at home, even when I tried to ran away from home, they found me and brought me home. I became so stressed and depressed for decades that I can't find job. But I never do drugs or alcohol. But Ms Jen Tserng what I know now is I have failed my life. Visiting USA is nothing more than just a dream. 😢

For overnights: A huge time saver for everyone involved is bringing my own sleeping bag (and pillow of course) I just lay it on top of a made bed. I let them know this in the M&G so they don’t need to think about stripping the bed before or after (and I don’t either) Finding out days and usual times of yard or pool service people coming. Then before I let the pet out after the service people have left, double check the gates!

I think you guys do a nice job, and you have knowledgeable guests. I’ve shared some of your videos with other pet sitters in my area, so hopefully, they’re also tuning in. Great podcast as always you two . Cheryl and I been through a lot of ups and downs and all the years we’ve been doing this.It never gets easier only that we have gotten through it. We’re both kinda getting there with our cars. She has 2010 Mazda 3 I think it has 135,000 to 140,000. Miles Maybe more. I have a 2013 Subaru Outback with 180,000 miles on it. I put a lot of money into It since October of 2021. With used cars being expensive . New cars over the top. Do we go EV or hybred. New/used. Or just put more money into our current cars. Trying fo save money which isn’t easy. Like most people (I hate car payments)🫤. We live in very affluent area also. You just have to roll with it and yes plan the best you can. Wonderful into. Keep it up.

I always wondered about the temperature of the concrete and how to handle my clients from 12-4…I’m in Florida. I usually carry a huge beach umbrella, but that doesn’t help their paws. What are your suggestions?

    • @petsitterconfessional

They make paw covers to wear in hot/cold weather. Also stick to grass/shaded areas and shorten the walk. You can also discuss with the client about moving the walk to mornings/evenings when it's cooler.
