Thanks for the content. I’m considering living there. I work in property management. Fort Mac has a reputation for being all people who work 16 hour days. But in my forties, I can’t do that. My concern is I wouldn’t fit in because of this.

Good video. I'm a Journeyman Scaffolder from Edmonton, I've considered moving from Edmonton to Fort Mac. The biggesr things keeping me from moving there are, Suncor owns all the sites if I get screwed over by Suncor because of politics and I get banned I'm screwed for work. Too few contractors, I'm a union Scaffolder and there's one contractor that has the majority of the jobs, this means you're treated worse and pushed harder. Suncor keeps taking away OT from us. I save money by living in camp. Crime, compared to Edmonton crime is insanely high. I've driven throughout the city I can see the appeal especially with being home everynight but as soon as the projects comes back the price of rent and goods in Fort Mac will Sky rocket. I'm still considering Fort Mac for myself to move there they need to charge small town prices for apartments.

Gregory are old houses and it's sort of an industrial area. Downtown - has lots of Somalian and I think Abasand too but downtown in general has lots of homeless people. Timberly is nice but be careful in areas such as Thickwood lots of homeless from the downtown area have move in-between Downtown and Thickwood. But in general it's almost 50% white and 30% African in Fort Mac. I should know this because I live on Nixon Street. Abasand is also a nice area.
