Little wonder his fellow pro’s called him The Guv’nor. On one occasion when I spoke with him, during a break in a concert, he told me he thought he was just beginning to scratch the surface of the EL 90. What an understatement that was. Having come from a background representing Hammond Organs worldwide he seamlessly made the transition to an orchestral instrument - he understood orchestral music at a high level. Sadly we can’t replace him - a very unique musician with a humble manner and great sense of humour. He once introduced Moonlight Becomes You in his Northern language - ‘Moonlight do Become Thee’ Thanks for the memories.

Tom has a God given voice.

I get a chuckle seeing these aging actors and singers who, when they know they are nearing Judgment Day, get themselves some religion. Tom Jones, more than any other singer/actor made simulated copulation on stage popular, then acceptable, in America. His contribution to the degradation of American values and morals was major. Oh, yes, I know, his Jesus thing may be for real ... there is always forgiveness ... at least for the truly repentant. But it sure is a coincidence how it always happens when they are looking at the end of their days. Maybe getting a little insurance policy. By the way, why doesn't he do his copulation thing for his Jesus songs?
