That was a long drive! The heaviest traffic I've ever seen in California on the 30th. Then a complete 180 with the lightest traffic I've ever seen going back New Year's eve. She fits nicely in the garage! Thanks again and best of luck in 2025!

Good luck in the 2025 season! I just started tournament kayak fishing last year and will be continuing this season here in Texas. My goals are to catch a limit in one of the tournaments, and my big aspiration is to make it into the top 20 in the fishing trail I participate in. I'm also excited to launch my UA-cam channel and hope to grow my audience this year, along with my TikTok.

Love it! Of course goals are important. I set some goals and just excited for the chase. I fumbled two events that I could have placed in last year and that’s motivation to drive these 2025 goals. Going to be super tough with going against the trifecta of hammers from all 3 states. 1. I would like to podium at least once this year. 2. Qualify for the WCC 3. Qualify for the Classic at Potholes 4. Place in the top 10 for AOY 5. Start my UA-cam content and be consistent

Hi Brandon, things always happen for a reason, I am way older than you and actually just retired. I had several job changes including layoff, bank mergers (I was a commercial banker), recessions, etc. And each time that happened I came out better in the end and so will you. One word of advice, if you can, follow your heart and work in an industry or job that you love, even if that means less money. So given your love for fishing, try your best to land a job within that industry. If I had followed my heart many years ago I would have been a sportswriter or announcer. But I didn't do that and still ended up with a great career but it was not a "passion" for me. Best to you going forward and Happy Holidays!
