3:32 I had this melody stuck on my head since 2007-2008 or so.... it was until the 2020's pandemic that I discovered that it was a fragment of this song during a very troubled moment of my life. What a good timing, it has brought me so much peace of mind and now is one of my main comfort songs. Ben's voice has no match it holds so much power and supports this song so well I lost count of how many times it moved me to tears in this couple of years only.

Strangely, none of the singers of this piece (who i can find) actually sing the Italian words as they are written here above. Instead of "addita", they sing the altogether more comprehensible "guida in". (I presume that the "il" before "porto" was just a typo.)
