It was expensive for me in MN, and the old guy absolutely hated me. I did everything great except doing the emergency stop too quickly. I was the youngest there by a long shot. All the dude did for me was be obviously passive aggressive in front of the whole class. And get in my face and straight up insult me when no one was watching. That dude single handedly killed my passion for bikes. I absolutely hate Minnesota for the people. "Minnesota nice" is a facade.

So the old guy really rode my son because he was the youngest by 7 years & wasn't really acting like he was paying attention sometimes. But it was 8hr one day & 6 hours day 2. So he was like all I got to do is follow what the person in front of me does... & The old guy(trainer) walked over too me on day two & said no more helping him. We teach this way on purpose. I said having them drop both feet is wrong & I don't want him having that habit. So that why I say something about his 1 foot down because I told him no more

I've got 5k miles on mine and they almost look like yours . Hoping to get 10 to 12 k on the rear and 18 k on the front if I'm lucky , I'd love to put Pirellis on maybe my next set , we'll see . $200 is not that bad but still $80 more than the quote and I'd be piss as well . Might wanna fix that title to "Navi" When dealing with dealerships, always make sure you ask them for the price out the door and to itemize every single charge that is on the bike. Often times they will add bullshit charges such as destination, surcharges, dmv charges, maintenance charges, etc and most of the time, it is ALL negotiable. These dealerships, especially lately, have been holding inventory for ages, and they get these units at much cheaper than msrp, you can haggle them down significantly lower, as long as they either break even, or make a little money on it. I think if you would have eventually left, they would have called you back with a slightly lower offer and you could of countered that with 2200-2400. You'd be amazed how likely you are to close the deal at your price, it's what I did with my mt03 and smax and I saved around $900 between both of them. That being said, how have you been liking your new bike so far? I want something new to cruise around the city so I can sell my smax, but I need something that can cruise at 50mph without much hastle and thats cvt. I've heard a lot of mix opinions on whether or now it can do 50 efficiently so i might go for something a bit stronger than a 110cc

Lol. I didn't even realize I put the M & not a N thank you. I use d Movavi editing so I think that's where I messed up. And as for sale. They have new owners and honestly they're selling cars and bikes like there is no quote Un quote recession around here. I did exactly what you said about a truck I was looking at at the Nissan dealership and they basically said thank you have a good day. And I pushed for cheaper price but there was no budging I tried and he said he can't do it..it's the area we live in. I was going to have my son do a small review on it cuz he rides at the most. But honestly he loves it It is an automatic so there is no shifting It has no power it gets around a small tech places easy to move around Great on gas anything over like 35 mph though with bumps you feel like you're going to lose your teeth but for like little short commutes little commuter It should be great but I just bought it so my son get the feel of a motorcycle the safest way I could think of. And it's just nice little bike to kick around on. Thanks for noticing the M.lol. and thanks for the view & comment .

@eboz3213 Well, I'm 60 years old & am pretty confident that I'll be dead B4 either a 2020/2021 appreciate a single penny. Besides, I don't 'keep' every bike 4ever, I usually get 3+ years B4 I get bored & swap to something different. Many younger riders do less time B4 swapping out. But, I am collecting & right now I can get a 'deal' on a normally $9,990.00 bike for under $7,500. Not throw away money, but if I don't keep it- I'll only lose 1/2 of my shirt! Haha. Conversely, if I do add it to the collection, I may have some $$$'s left over from my less expensive Gutzsi. Either way, at $7,500.00 w/ $1,500.00 down, I can handle a 2-3 year loan so I won't have to roll the balance to a new bike loan.

I realize you shouldn’t rev over 4500 rpm during the break in on the new bike. Other than you noticing the extra low end grunt. You mentioned the engine didn’t feel anymore powerful. The 850 has over 10 more horsepower, and you if you would have done some full throttle pulls you would have felt a major difference. ( for a GUZZI that is ) I have an 850 and have ridden the 750. I wouldn’t have bought the 750, it’s too slow and unrefined. You mentioned the refinement of the Japanese bikes. I’ve been riding mostly Japanese bikes for almost 40 years now. ( sport bikes, standards, cruisers, you name it ) And I took for granted just how good they are until I bought a Guzzi Lol! The bike more or less harkens to being a European version of an older Harley Sportster.

Mate, I totally get you - but I see how you struggle to word it. People have to feel it, not everyone does that. I had a V7iii Rough - same as you, came in the shop and said that's it. That's exactly what I want. Unfortunately we had to leave the country where we were living and I had to leave the bike there. At the new place, there's hardly any Guzzis, so I bought a BMW F700 GS. Totally different bike, but it actually does exactly what you call 'Vanilla'. I drove so much faster than with the Guzzi, and at the end of the day, it was just another bike ride, without the spices. So I sold it now, and bought the last new 'old school V7iii Stone'. It has been in the store for 6 years, the centenario came and all the 850's and it just wouldn't sell. Yes, I need to do some upgrades to get it close to my rough, but I will get the feeling or 'old school motorbike riding' back. Thank you so much, you kind of prevented me making the mistake to buy an 850, while I really wanted the 'feel' of the 750 back. Happy riding!

Nice video. I just bought a similar one, used, with about 14K miles on it. Mine is 061/750. I agree with all your "positives", mainly the ride which has just enough vibration to give you that feel you're riding a motorcycle. As far as the negatives, I would agree with the seat not being comfortable after 2 hours riding. However, I always try and take a break after 1.5 or 2 hours of riding. Tires are OK, I guess. I have Continental but not sure if those are the same as the stock tires that come on the V7. All in all, this is probably one of the most fun bikes I've owned in the past 20 years (I had 8 other bikes, different styles).

The 818 I think is the Upgrade.I moved to PC so upgraded my Wheel & pedals. But I will say that the Fanatec bundle pack is like $100 more if you can get in stock.but from when I made this video there are more options within $150 of the T300 & Logitech stuff. Cummus ? I think is the name has a 5nm wheel that ppl love Fanatec has 5 & 8 NM wheel upgrade thrustmaster 818, moza R5. It's really a sweet time to get into Sim racing

Regarding the 2021 & later bikes, they're different tho they visually resemble older ones... -The factory preset gear shift indicator is low for the BREAK-IN period RPM - ignore or reset via the menu to the actual redline. -If you don't explore the envelope of the V7 you'll miss the most delightful characteristic - it's the shear fun factor on a bendy road with time spent at or near redline. It's a forgiving bike. -This V7 weighs 436 lbs or 198 KG dry - it's not heavy, it carries 5.5 Gal or 21 litres which is more than competing offerings so the wet weight will reflect that. Aftermarket exhaust drops the weigh 20 lbs if you're so inclined. -A superior choice among other retro standards if you want to be able to snap on a windscreen & bags for LST duty due to its range, excellent seat & rider position, 6 speed gearbox & final drive. -4 pot Brembo 320mm up front - others in the genre may only be a 2 pot. -Excellent stability on the highway, cruises at 90mph or 145 kph w/o stressing. -Low speed handling is very good thanks to the low CG, steering lock turns & filtering are a breeze.

The old V7s really are garbage compared to the 2021 model. You can see how the pre-2021 Guzzi V7s are being basically given away on Cycletrader. A much, much better ride in the newer models.

@@speedfinder1 I haven't watched the video Sense I edited it last year but there was a few things I read off & was like what?. But that is the standard routine for them on the first service & it's a set price.so I took it as they want to make it look like I got my money's worth.but it's under warranty so I play the game.

I am just in the process of buying an 850 special having just sold my 2010 V7. Compared to my old Tonti MK1 le mans you could say the 2010 V7 felt a bit vanilla. So I guess if you really want to experience a real character Moto Guzzi then buy a Tonti Guzzi not a V7. I don't think that a Guzzi will ever feel quite like a Japanese motorcycle, but I understand what you are trying to convey. Anyway, all Guzzis are great bikes.

I had the G29 for 3 years it was a great entry wheel and I managed to get the FFB feeling really good. I've now got the T300RS-GT it's so much more powerful I'm still dialing in the FFB trying to find that sweet spot. I'm actually slower with the T300 than I was with the G29 but I'm sure once I get it feeling to my liking I will gain time.

So I just moved up to a true DD wheel.& It's a whole new experience.idk what you play on. But I've commented this before but with the G29 it's still my favorite shifts on paddle but the feed back on the T300 was much better on Console. But on PC the Logitech is better. I called & asked Thrustmaster why & she said the 300; wasn't made for PC but there is a wheel being made and now we know thrustmaster came out with a DD wheel. But the Jump up to true DD wheel is more informative. & More consistent. So something to look forward to.
