Terrible idea. It is against code to run AC power cables thru walls. These products are for running low voltage and data cables only. The manuals for these products will say as much. "CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injuries and property damage! ● For low voltage cabling only (HDMI, audio, coax or data cabling), DO NOT run power cords in-wall."
Does it connect well to a ring camera on the door?
I personally don't have one. I think it will depend on how far away it is. I have my garage door opener connected with no problem.

What do use to record a show
UA-cam tv has dvr, the other non-live apps you don't need to record because they are not live and you can watch anytime.

This doesn't help me because I have a Vizio HDTV and I'm not sure whether to buy just a stick or just exactly what I need. It's not a smart TV. So I understand how you can help others but not me.
if you want to access these types of apps you likely will need a streaming device. I recommend the Roku but the Firestick is available and will work also. if you need help with setup for Roku I have a separate video for that on my channel. hope this helps.
I am not being critical of your video. The videos where people buy a generator and then make a video claiming they are great generators. Champion and Generac generators are junk. They are built to last just long enough. The warranty is through the phone, you call and they send you the part and you install the part.
I have not had those experiences, sorry to hear that you did. I know it is not as good as a whole house generator, but it has helped me well on several occasions.
I’m not going to poke fun of someone posting a helpful video for a novice. It just might save the day? Any generator is better than no generator. For someone not otherwise versed on power or its delivery? This video just might keep someone from losing all their food in a freezer or refrigerator. That’s what it’s set up to do. Now you & your neighbors might not like the earth shaking noise coming from this generator? I hope he has neighbors far away? That’s my main complaint with conventional generators. Especially at night & into the morning. They are annoying & sometimes they are not hooked up correctly? It’s when they are not that they may back feed out onto the line? Potentially hurting & possibly killing a neighbor or a pet? Your better to have a whole house generator installed by a licensed electrician. That takes pre-planning but you’ll be happier with the outcome.
Yes a whole house generator would of course be better no one is claiming this is better. But not everyone can afford that and as you stated this in a pinch may limitedly help with at least keeping the refrigerator on. Thanks for the comment.
@@thebudgetwisedad I went with a roll out as well. However my reason was because my hand was forced. I wanted to go with a stand by but I live in an ASSociation. They wouldn’t allow me to install a thousand gallon propane tank. They were upset that I already had a 50 gallon but they had to grandfather that in because it was here before we moved in. I went all out on my set up. I spent more than three times what it would have cost for a stand by. However I’m happier with the results as I got the best of the best in a roll out. I also have the quietest of them all. A Honda inverter with fuel injection. I have it wired by an electrician about 7 years ago into my circuit breaker panel with an inter lock. I can back feed my entire house including my 2-1/2 ton central air with a soft start kit.
@@thebudgetwisedad I would not recommend a whole house generator to anyone, except for a financially secure household. I agree that not every person can afford a Honda or Yamaha, and yes these lower price generators do fill a void. Unfortunately the busineess model is build it long enough to make it through the warranty period. These Champion and Generac generators are built to that standard. I have heard from Caterpillar technicians that there machines are built to the same standard. Thank you for your comment.
If you don't have a generator inlet plug to connect to the house and some type of transfer switch or interlock, I recommend it. It's a game changer. 😎😎
