You’re all taking it out on the pilot for taking it too seriously, but that is exactly what the angry controller did too - take it too seriously. In my very short time on Vatsim flying mainly from EGKK I can say some of the controllers are extremely rude and use their perceived superiority to berate some users which is just not necessary or welcome. Not quite the same but in the real world spats over ATC and an ATC controller with an unapproachable attitude has contributed to accidents some of which have been fatal. I love the controllers that despite numerous pilot errors keep cool, firm but fair , and focused on safety - these qualities are sought after in the real world of ATC.

4 years in vatsim, never heard of Lindbergh airline 😂😂, its a totally fine question to ask since Euroscope the program that we controllers use doesnt always show the airline name , and even sometimes its gives a wrong airline name , and its totally fine to ask the pilot to confirm the callsign , i dont know why he took it personally , what an idiot pilot

You can tell the Limburg guy is on VATSIM for 12 years like he said. He acts as if it is unbelievable not everyone else is there for 12 years as well and knows every callsign by heart. Bro you are talking to ground or tower. Thats likely S1 or S2, possibly a guy who is controlling for like a year... And he is literally the only one taking things out on other people lol. The controller was insanely polite and he acts like he was 12 year old rather than flying 12 years on vatsim. This is one of the reasons why I prefer flying on IVAO despite having way less traffic. People there are very very friendly, both pilots and controllers. And actually despite having less demands the quality of pilots seems actually better. Maybe because these kids who have no clue whatsoever all find vatsim first and then log on there and never end up making it into ivao lol. And then being like "as a guy who works for the airlines for a living".. just to make sure that anyone having some doubts left really understood how much of an idiot he actually is beyond any doubts. The fact such jerks are flying on vatsim for 12 years is pretty telling. Like what he acted like an asshole towards the tower, then made up bullshit about "being shouted at" towards the next controller. This guy has serious mental issues..

I tried vatsim once, and havent been back. I have real world flight experience out of international air space, only mention to give reference. I posted that it was my first time on vatsim, but when I requested for IFR clearance the controller said it was posted electronically. I asked where that was, and he got super mouthy and belittling about it. That was a year ago and I havent been back since. I fly with AI atc now.

That Lindbergh pilot is just an agressive idiot. I didn’t hear any conflict being portrayed by the controller. He simply asked for callsign clarification. I’ve been on VATSM for 18 years, and I never heard of GoJet or the Lindbergh callsign. Must be a group for idiots. The tower controller didn’t yell at him.12 years on VATSIM? I've been a pilot since 1995.. Even before Covid but especially since, I absolutely believe that high strung guy actually "works for the airlines"... They're not the Air Force pilots of the 20th century getting a few years making bank and chasing cute flight attendants before a fat retirement at 55.. No, most guys in the seats are rich kids neck deep in student loan debts regretting their life choices. Bitter guys on their second divorce. I hear and see too much out there going very, very wrong. And now with the NTSB and FAA shifting their focus from safety to diversity... Well, let's just say it ain't much different in real life than what I just watched in this video. I was flying near Austin and heard it when the tower nearly stacked two passenger planes on each other... It's getting wild out there.
