Hi, you're right. On most counts - I think. Politics need such an overhaul, it's actually funny. But to me, the more distant they feel, the better they are at their job. Politics should only get involved in the big stuff, the things that affect everyone equally. Nobody likes murder, so they should enforce that. But the effect of a man wanting to be a woman or vice versa, on everybody else is tiny. It might come as a shock but, it's affect on others stretches about as far as this article. Since men becoming women is more likely to feel threatening to a woman than the reverse would to men, I'd probably tentatively suggest the third bathroom was available for use, then scarper before somebody put forth a reasonable argument against it. I don't want to wade into trans issues, I'm not smart enough but, as I've said their personal choices are so utterly non-consequential to anyone else's lives, that I support it. I don't want to be ruled by increasingly distant and quantiferous assemblies of politicians, but only because the word I find offensive there is "ruled." Their job is to collect taxes, enforce laws, protect people, build infrastructure, buy resources all to make life as good as it can be for the most amount of people. But that "most" doesn't mean you exclude any minorities, if you want your economy to grow you support them, all of them, everybody you can, every opportunity. To be honest I don't see why this can't be done by a big global government, it's not really been stress tested. Life's never going to be fair until it is. We've tried small governments and we keep hitting bricks walls - as we agreed on, I say politics needs a huge overhaul!
